My best friend Kelly & Rod

Yesterday, Rod n family came to our house to pay us a visit.... Kelly also brought along their Princeton to the house.. he's simply so cute!!

We had a long chat for around 2 hours+ b4 they went home... As Princeton was obviously tired... By the time my son is born, i think Princeton should b able to crawl liao bah.. an elder brother to play with him by then.. I'm sure they'll b very close brothers... Wat i scared is, my son might b a naughty boy, as he always kicks me in the tummy... Hope when he is born, he is a good boy n can communicate well with others..

In my point of view, we have many values to teach a child... in order to make him a better person in future.. hubby doesn't like spoilt kids.. neither do I.. but i told hubby, wat i think is impt is, we need to teach baby a value: Humble... i hate proud n arrogant people.. Hubby wana teach baby to b a filial person, which is also impt... there r simply too many values to b cultivated..

It's been a long time ever since i met up with the both of them.. they were also my emcees during our wedding banquet.. every1 praised them for their fantastic skills that night.. we used to go KTV often.. but now bcoz we r all married, parens, parents-to-be, so the frequency has decreased..

But something will not change is that, our friendship will always be true n strong!

Baby stuff updates

After mum bought some small items for her coming grandson a few weeks ago, my MIL also bought some things for bb..

Sat, my parents went with me to my ex-colleague's house.. she has prepared some 2nd hand stuff for me to take... she had many clothing n socks, hats for baby.. she even gave me a baby seat, to put in the car, n oso can hand carry.. milk pump oso.. this weekend may have to go up there again, as we still have some bulky items to carry home...

Yesterday, went JP with mum.. we went shopping n oso to take a look at baby's stuff.. like pram, milk bottles, sterilizer, pampers etc... had a rough idea on the prices, so next week go back Kedah,will go check out the prices.. if M'sia there is cheaper, then we will buy from there.. if no much different, then will buy in S'pore..

My mum asked me to start recruiting stuff for bb's arrival.. though i think it's still early... haha... i need to walk around n see longer as in what r the things tat i actually need... of course.. i will see who wana sponsor this, who wana sponsor that.. so that i dun need to look around again.. my sis will sponsor us a pram.. so i need to look around for a nice n yet affordable one... must b durable too, so tat bb can use for a few years.. dun wana spend sis' too much money.. so gotta see properly...

I'm not going to buy things for bb yet til my m'sia trip is over.. must see if the things there r cheaper or not.. if can, buy liao, come back s'pore no need to re-buy again..

Baby stuff tat mum bought in Ireland

Mum went to Ireland with small gugu n eldest gu zhang a couple of weeks ago to visit my sis... i didn't expect mum to buy anything for us as we all know stuff in Europe are expensive.. all i hope is she enjoy herself in Europe...

Sis brought them to quite a number of places, n mum was so happy tat she has always wanted to tour n see things...

When she came back, she bought quite a number of stuff.. haha.. she bought 3 stuff for baby... a water bottle, a pair of socks n a piece of clothing.. and it's all BLUE... haha... i'm so happy coz it's my favourite colour...

I was surprised tat she is actually willing to spend money in Europe... though din spend too much in the end... anyway, i was grateful n thankful for her kind gesture...

Hubby's 28th Birthday 03-08-08

at midnight 12am, i sang a simple birthday song to hubby.. wishing him a happy birthday.. n gave him the present.. when he saw the box, he could guess tat wat i'm getting him, n he was clever enough to guess it correctly...

we went to sleep rather late tat day.. and somemore need to wake up early as we agreed to meet my in-laws early to go for dim sum... n later that noon, i drove hubby to Suntec n we had Tony Roma for lunch.. oh my,it was so filling that we can't finish our food.. n of course, i drove the standby car that the insurance company lent me, as my Picanto is still under operation..

I'll b able to see my Picanto soon again this week.. will wait for their call... I'm so happy to have the chance to celebrate my every birthday with hubby, n soon with our precious baby who will b arriving in December.. i want to celebrate my birthday, hubby's birthday every year, and of course, we need to work hard to maintain our marriage, which i know we will definitely do it..

HAPPY 28th Birthday Mr. Bong!!

i was looking forward to the new start of Aug, though it also marks the 1st day of the Hungry Ghost Festival.. bcoz 2 more days to hubby's birthday...

This morn, i went back to my parents' place to get wrapping paper, so tat i can wrap the birthday present at my desk in the staff room.. so after gotten the wrapping paper, i wanted to head to the petrol station to pump petrol.. at the junction near our house, the red light was on, so had to stop my car.. my car was in stationary for a few munites n suddenly heard a big bump on my car n i was slightly jurked as i didn't put on seat belt.. my next reaction was, die liao, my car kana knocked liao...

indeed it was, was knocked by a big truck... the malay driver claimed that he was rushing to send delivery, n i told him i also rushing to work loh.. so the next reaction was, i asked him for his driving license so tat i can take down his IC number, name... i asked him for his company name, contact number of his n the company's.. n took down the truck's plate number... i brought my camera with me, so i went to snap pics of my 'disfigured' car...

I told the guy, i would call my car insurance agent n do the claiming from him n his company.. the boot has some parts dented, n was scratched.. it definitely needed painting or spray... my boot's lock came loose, n i couldn't get it locked.. my car's internal locks also bumped spoilt liao, gotta manually lock it, my brakes cannot lock it after the knock..

I called my agent straight.. n i drove to school, went to the general office, told my 3rd boss tat i needed to take UPA, as i need to drive my car down personally to do the report n claiming, n needed to be done within 24 hours.. 3rd boss said ok, ask me fill up the form n let her sign.. by the time i finished filling up the form, she was talking to big boss, so i went to the office,she told big boss abt my UPA, big boss immediately signed the form n asked me if i'm ok.. i do feel ok at that time.. my agent told me the insurance company's location, which i was unclear of where it is.. so i need to wait for him to drive down to my sch, n lead me the way there..
i have time to go lunch with my colleagues at 11am.. i waited for him til 12pm, n followed his car to Braddell... filling up the form, the crew need to inspect my car, take pictures as evidence n etc documentation to b done.. so suay right?

we spent around 2hours there, b4 i got the standby car, to use until my precious Picanto is ready for collection.. the crew said he will try to get it done b4 National Day.. after doing the documentation, i need to go my gynae for a checkup, to see if bb is ok.. coz my colleagues who knew the accident were worried abt me.. so as promised, i drove to the clinic, my gynae wasn't ard today, so i see the gynae who is available.. i told them i was involved in a car knock, so i was able to cut queue to do the checkup 1st.. the gynae checked the heartbeat, it was ok.. wat a relief.. but she told me, if later tonight i feel unwell, or even bleeding, i will have to go to the hospital straight.. yes, i do feel slight dizzy.. but gynae said it's normal.. so we see how it goes tonight..

after affirming that bb is ok, i went on to Pioneer Mall, HDB branch office to change my season parking temporary to the standby car plate number... i requested to make it a week, so when i get back my car, i just need to make a call n change it back to my Picanto's plate number will do... it's so troublesome...

i got an auto car 1.6 Lancer to drive for these few days... oh my, how many donkey years had i not touched an auto car huh... n somemore 1.6.. so big compared to my Picanto.. but no choice, the company has no stock for car which are 1.3 or 1.5.... so i gotta drive with care until my Picanto is ready to come back to me... Later, Weixin will b coming over to drive me, to go meet the rest of our colleagues for dinner n gossip session, as it's her last day.. we agreed to have a gathering.. though such a suay matter happened to me, but i still need to keep my promise to go with them.. i wonder how my Picanto is now, being 'operated'...
