Rest In Peace - Xu Wei Lun

I saw the news on tv a few days ago, reported that taiwanese actress Xu Wei Lun has passed away due to a serious accident.
People who watched tv or even newspaper should know about this piece of sad news. A young lady who is only 28, left the world just like that....
Heard that she was rushing to another place, n her car skidded to the side of an expressway, then 'flew' to other lanes... A big truck in front of her then didn't manage to stop in time, n banged onto her car, n resulted the vehicle to overturn... She suffered serious head injuries, after many hours of emergency aids, she did not manage to cross the death line.
It was quite a big news to her friends... I was rather shocked to watch the news that day. though she wasn't my idol, but i knew about this lady... She was really pretty... Taiwanese address her as 'Angel'... N indeed she is as pretty as an angel...
Many people were grieving over her departure... It was quite sudden i know... But i was thinking, Life is really unpredictible... we never know what will happen the next minute.... Zhiyong n Mary from 93.3FM commented that we should treasure the people around us.. But on the other hand, do people around us treasure us? It's so sophiscated n complicated...
Man do have regrets... i blif Xu Wei Lun has it too... Though she has left the world, but i know people who know about this matter, will pray for her, will pray that she will have a happier life at the other part of the world...

Jolin: Dancing Diva Singapore Concert 2007

Jolin is coming to S'pore for her concert soon!!! for people who r going should know her concert is on 7th of April!!!

The concert tickets were available since Friday 9am.... i only managed to catch some time to purchase online on Friday ard 3+.... But still luckily, i managed to get the $168 tickets... i'll b taking the 1st block in front of the stage... row 18... so i think we won't b so far away from the stage... Sure can c jolin!

We missed her concert the other year bcoz we went for SHE's... so now we have to give up SHE for Jolin....... Though i've watched several concerts, but i still think Energy's the best concert i ever watched.... That time was i went with my sis... we were very close to the stage, so we could see all 4 members so clearly... but what was sad was, we didn't bring camera!!! SAD man....

I started to like Jolin ever since she started to join the singing industry... til now.... She was getting more matured... Her dancing skills r getting better... n of course her attraction is becoming so seducing.... if we were to miss her concert again, then will have to wait a year or so...

We have to admit that she is bcoming stronger n stronger... as a diva queen!! Hoping to watch her interesting performance in April.... Here we come!!!!!!

Higher qualification of parents = worse discipline of children

Y do i say that? i found out that the more educated the parents are in this century, will produce worse ill-bred children.... y is that so ah??? but of course i must explain, not ALL r like that...

In my teaching days, i encountered a lot of spoilt brats in the school, including in my class... N i really hate their behaviour..... but NOT ALL kids r like that though... whether the kid behaves well or not, it all depends on their upbringing... Do u agree?

I must really criticise the parents who spoil their kids til the extend that they allow kids to scream n shout aniwhere they want.... even when the kids did something wrongly, parents can simply let them off just like that... of course i'm not implying that parents should punish their precious in front of the public lah... that is such a lose of face... but at least tell them seriously about the consequences....

Just now, i was at West Mall with my parents, 4th uncle n aunt.... my car was parked at B2, so we need to travel up from the escalator.... who knows halfway up, a small boy pressed the 'STOP' button, n the escalator stopped suddenly n gave us a shock... Do u realise how dangerous it was?? luckily we held on to the handle... otherwise we would fall.... but the parents didn't even hold the child properly.. n the most impt thing was, they did not apologize to us!!!! the grandma kept looking at us... look 4 wat??? shit lah.... should say SORRY man... y? their mouths very expensive isit?? i was scolding them from up there.... i shouted, hey, please discipline your kid, such a poor discipline... wasn't i right for scolding them like that?? the parents dissapear from my sight, leaving the grandma n the kid facing me..... What the heck?????

I hate such discipline of children... thats y last thursday when i was in my p1 class, i oso cannot tahan them.. scolded them upside down... told them i'm not some1 to b trifled with, i told them not to behave the way they used to do at home... coz i never tolerate such behaviour... n i told them i can b very nice, n i can be VERY harsh too... i told them to behave well during my class n dun try to b special, or else i'll scold them n punish them...

This generation's kids r all so precious isit?? u can love n pamper them.. but u must oso show them what can b done n wat can't b done.... what if elderly people r on the escalator?? what if they fell down n got hurt?? These people r all so irresponsible.... PLEASE lah.. if dunno how to teach children, then dun give birth to them lah.... what a disaster... i really cannot tolerate such scene u know??? people may say i'm very fierce n strict towards young kids like them... but as i always say, dun let them b so wild n think that they can behave so spoiltly in front of anybody n ani place.... parents dunno how to teach, then let me teach them what is a good behaviour.... i dun care how u behave at home, but dun ever try that in front of me..... i dun take that.....

The more i thought of it, the angrier i am..... If u feel guilty after reading this post, that means u have to reflect on how have u been teaching n pampering your kids.... it's time 4 u to change.... or i shouldn't say 'change'... but please 'improve'..... dun over-pamper your children... or else in the future, they won't b much of a contribution to the family n the country.... think it over carefully, PARENTS!!! esp those highly-educated parents..
