meeting of the 3 brothers

this noon, Gladys' house was v crowded... many of us went over..

there was Joreen, me, hubby, Jaden, Jas, her fiance Michael, Kelly, Rod, Princeton!!!

finally there was a chance for the 3 brothers to see one another.. we reached rather late bcoz Jaden woke up rather late... Kelly knocked off rather late too, tats y they were the last to reach...

we didn't stay long, bcoz by the time we reached Gladys' house was ard 4+ liao... stayed for less than 1hour, as we already made an apptment to have dinner with my in laws...

so sorry tat i didn't go eat with the rest.. but i blif there will b the next chance..

Finally got the chance to bring Jaden over loh.. though there was times that he felt strange n cried.. n although the time i stayed there was short, but i enjoyed myself man.. Jaden has 2 companions loh.. so happy..

Jaden was curious abt Delroy.. wanted to touch him, but hubby kept telling me to b careful as in not allowing Jaden to hurt the sleeping baby brother... Princeton was not in that mood too i assume.. mayb he also felt strange there.. but i koe he will get used to it n will b happy again, just like the previous time when we were there..

Though the meeting time btwn the 3 brothers were short, but we will still try to let them meet again.. haha...

a good start

yest hubby was off.. so acc Jaden n me at my in laws' house in the day..

i asked hubby if we can bring Jaden over to my parents' place for a while.. too try n see if Jaden will cry again this time round.. n oso let my mum see him.. hubby agreed, so there we went, pushing Jaden in his pram.. walked from my in laws' house to my parents'..

Jaden was very quiet in his pram.. busy looking around..

When we reached my parents' house, saw Coko n my bro at the living room... no crying sound from Jaden.. we brought him over to my bro.. bro said hello to his nephew.. Jaden was ok..

I walked to the balcony, where my mum was doing her laundry.. Jaden smiled at her.. my mum was overjoyed!!! I was surprised too!!

Mum was talking to Jaden.. a good start.. no crying or unhappiness in him... we sat down n chatted for a while.. Jaden was in my arms.. after chatting for ard 15min, we left n walked back to my in laws' house, as we were going to have dinner with them...

Hubby n I were surprised tat Jaden was feeling ok.. mayb bcoz he has had his fill, taken his sleep.. so he was in good mood.. I told hubby we should sometimes bring him over, so tat he won't feel strange n cry.. it was a really a good start yest.. n i'm really very happy.. can see tat my mum was elated too.. the previous few times, Jaden cried when we entered the house for less than 2min...

Next week, i hope to bring him over for a while too.. hope Jaden can b as obedient too...

Weixin's wedding @ St Regis 21-06-09

yest attended Weixin's wedding at St Regis... finally can see her in her pretty gowns!!!

She was 1 of my jiemeis during my wedding 2 years ago.. my ex-colleague from Pei Hwa... quite close to me...

I simply loved her gowns.. esp her wedding gown.. oh my.. she was gorgeous.. looked fantastic.. but obviously lost quite some kilos... but can see tat she enjoyed herself the whole day..

The morn event was so funny n enjoying...

The food served was so great.. i loved the cod fish a lot.. super delicious leh.. service by the staff was good too!!! atmosphere good.. n they even engaged a live band to sing on stage... this hotel was really great man.. no wonder graded as S'pore's highest class hotel...

We enjoyed ourselves during the banquet.. n i was happy for Weixin.. was glad tat she is finally officially called Mrs Soh, or Mdm Tan... haha.. I was grateful that she had been a great help n support during my wedding, n so when it's her wedding, no matter wat i will b present to share her joy.. tats my support to her n her hubby Wei Chao..

A memorable day for this couple who had courted for 11 years... a new milestone for them.. I'm really happy for her.. just from her expressions yest could tell the happiness in her.. so fortunate! i hope their marriage can last sweetly n may she have 'good news' soon!! congrats my jiemei Weixin!!!

breakfast with mum n bro

Hubby today off, so yest we brought Jaden home... but something xianzzz is, he needs to work tmr, n Sat off, Sun work again.. such schedule is more tiring...

This morn, we met up with my mum n brother for breakfast... Jaden woke up at 8am... bathed at 8.15am, n went for his short rest again in the yao lan at 8.30am..

after an hour+ rest, he woke up... we then went to meet up with mum n bro..

Had Mac at Pioneer Mall...... Jaden was rather happy.. kept laughing n made noise...

I was happy too, as my mum had the chance to see her grandson.. n somemore see him wearing the rompers she bought for him the other day... she was elated... haha..

He didn't make noise when we were eating n chatting.. he was playing n looking at other ppl in the fastfood restaurant.. we had a short chat b4 sending them home...

B4 we left, Jaden made 'cake'... hehe.. so went to the toilet to clean him up..

It was a good start... Mayb he's ok when it's open place.. if go to my parents' house, he definitely dun want... but we r glad tat he is still ok when we were outside.. my mum n bro talked him, n he smiled too.. I will try to let my mum see him once a week!

Jaden is recognizing places.. so it's rather hard to bring him over to other ppl's house.. i hope such situation can improve when he grows older.. or else, is very miserable for all of us, esp ppl who want to see him.. Jaden, please jia you ok?

Educational stuff

given my profession, i actually bought quite a few of storybooks.. not for wat, is for my teaching purpose.. i need to conduct CME lessons, so sometimes by having some storybooks with me, i can find some relevant stories to share with the children..

So when i was preggy with Jaden, he will also get the chance to read them in the future..

B4 delivering, i actually bought some vcd cartoons too.. i bought those childish types like Mickey Mouse, Tom & Jerry etc.. no Transformers or fighting cartoons.. coz i think it'll b a bad influence for the children..

I always discourage letting babies watch TV early.. not any earlier than 6months... but readings say tat the appropriate age to start letting them watch shld b 1 year old n above.. when Jaden unconsciously turn his head to the TV, i will block his view.. coz if allowing babies to watch tv too early, in the future, his attention span will b v short..

Jaden is turning 7 months old in a few more days' time.. i think he can b introduced to TV now.. but not long.. 5min...

Some parents v lazy, refusing to spend time with their babies, so let them watch TV or cartoons, so tat they can b diverted.. n parents can take a breather.. but mind u, babies now dun need anything but our communication n play with them...

Yest noon, bought a few more cartoons.. n stories, n sing song karaoke... played Mickey Mouse cartoon for Jaden.. he watched a while, amused by the movement in the TV, he started laughing at the cartoon.. the scenario is simply too funny, but i had no chance to video down as he was sitting on my lap tat time...

FIL also bought him toys.. those can read ABC, or read words, spell out words.. music included too!! he loved the toys! though still dunno how to play.. but when we pressed for him to hear, he likes it.. He shld start to get in contact with such educational stuff, as he will b learning more skills in the upcoming months too...

I dun dare to hope tat he will b SO clever in the future.. i just wish he can learn watever he shld n acquire the necessary knowledge... keep it up, my son!

Jaden in car seat

had bought Jaden's car seat quite a couple of months ago... but no much chance to really let him sit on it...

This week, he has sat on it thrice!!!! considered quite a good start!

1st attempt, brought Jaden n mil to Bukit Timah to eat breakfast.. put him on the car seat which i place at the front, beside the driver seat.. he was very ok with it.. playing with his toy, seeing cars in front, n sometimes turning over to see me n smiled at me...

2nd attempt, i brought him home ALONE... it was Thur... i put him in car seat, i drove him back home in the evening...

3rd attempt, today morn... went IMM with mil n hubby.. put Jaden there too... quite ok...

i think he needs more tries on it, n then he will get used to it...

Hope we will have the chance to put him on it again soon!!!

Meet up with 1 of my best friend

i've known Candy ever since i moved to Jurong West when i was 12... we had always been very close.. went to work together, eat together, shop together etc.. but when we grew older, we had diff career paths, so meet up time has decreased a lot...

We even met lesser after i got married.. but something not changed, is our friendship...

Just now noon, she called me to see if i'm free for lunch.. it's been a long time ever since we met for a meal.. so i left Jaden with mil, n went to meet her.. my bro n mum also joined as they had not eaten their lunch too..

Though it was a short meet up, but we still have many things to talk about.. anything under the sun.. both of us are still the same.. 3-8 loh.. haha...

I do hope she dun move far from Jurong, coz she told me, her bf n her may apply flat in TPY area.. i hope not lah.. but if she really does, then we gotta really make an effort to meet up next time..

i treasure the friendship btwn us, n i hope no matter where we are, we will still meet up and have a chat..

Visiting Gladys & Delroy

Went to visit Gladys & little Delroy on Sunday noon, together with Kelly & Princeton!!!
I had to b the driver, coz Rod was on duty.. so i didn't bring my little Jaden along... or else, the 3 brothers can see one another liao!! If Rod din work, then he can b the driver loh haha!!

Delroy is 1month old liao.. so fast.. a very obedient newborn.. compared to Jaden when he was young, Delroy is even easier to take care... must b a good boy in the future..

Princeton loved their place.. he was playing happily n enjoying himself so much.. after tat he needed a rest.. i carried him, n rocked him.. sang song.. n after ard 10-15min, he fell asleep in my arms.. not forgetting to hold on to my blouse...

We had a long chat.. anything under the sun.. enjoyed our mini gathering.. we chatted ard 3hours+, n i told Kelly i need to go liao.. as i need to bring my in laws n Jaden out for dinner.. i missed my son!!!

drove them back home 1st.. after which went downstairs to wait for Jaden n in laws to come down.. we went for early dinner at 5 something.. went west mall.. Jaden was happy tat he was going out again.. hehe.. luckily we went out early, not so crowded, n the air con was very cold that Jaden felt cold.. n put him inside his 'bird's nest' sling... he loved it!! haha...

Yest after my tuition, i went to Gladys' mum's house, near pioneer mall.. to pass her the nipple teat n cotton buds... Saw Delroy again.. it was such a miracle that babies r born to this world.. with loving parents... we 3 are now mothers to our precious princes..

now is to wait for Jasline to join us in the motherhood!!

of course, i'm not encouraging her to have bb 1st b4 marriage.. babies shld always come after customary wedding.. just tat i'll b waiting patiently for her to get preggy.. by then her child will b the most fortunate, as her child will have 3 brothers, (or more brothers or sisters coming by then) to dote on.. her child will b showered with even more care n love..

Our frdship had always been strong.. now with the presence of our little ones.. we will b even closer than ever...

Visit of Tay family!!!

this evening, the Tay family came over to my in laws' house, together with Princeton, to visit us n precious Jaden!!

A pity, Jaden was so tired, dunno y.. mayb too tired n not having enough sleep as he usually does for the past few days.. feeling very cranky these few days.. he went to bed b4 9pm liao.. my in laws' were pampering him to sleep, while hubby n I chatted with them at the living room..

Princeton boy is simply so cute!! he crawls so fast loh!! oh my! When can Jaden do that too?
Princeton was also tired.. we put him at the recliner, which i brought over from my place to in laws' house.. after a while, Tiantian really fell asleep.. he is of course much heavier than Jaden, but i can still carry him!! Kelly said i'm able to carry, n of course lah!! i'm unlike other parents.. lazy..

Princeton is 6 months older than Jaden, n Jaden is 6 months older than Delroy.. so happy tat he has 2 brothers to play with.. Kelly stays rather near to us, but Delroy is a bit far lah.. but luckily Gladys' mum stay near here.. so hopefully when she brings Delroy over to Jurong, we can put the 3 boys together...

Dunno when can Jaden n Princeton see each other again loh... i hope soon lah!!
