Our 4th year 3rd month

Today is the 27th, which marks our anniversary again... today is our 4th year 3rd month being together.. So fast, 2008 is our 5th year being a couple. but of course now, is married couple, not a courting couple animore..

Later gonna go for health screening, which does the basic checking of BP, sugar level etc... Cannot eat any food for the past 8 hours, so it means i missed my breakfast.. feel so giddy liao ahaha..

though today is our anniversary, but we dun celebrate each month, we'll celebrate every year.. which is 27th Nov.. Today is just a normal day for us, we need to work today. i have my weekly tuition slot this evening..

I never expected we can go so far, to be frank. So, i was still surprised that we are now married. I look forward to our days as husband n wife, spending the rest of our days together.. finally,i've settled down.. no need to re-develop another new r/ship.. but of course, now as his wife, we need to develop a new r/ship n status, so that we can last all the way. we need to adjust our mentality and way of living to accomodate each other. But our principle still stands, we dun invade each other's privacy. i think tat is the most impt factor in a r/ship. i blif we will work together towards a loving living life...

Updates II

We are stepping into the 2nd month of our marriage life.. after wedding, our focus for 2008 will be our flat... finally,we completed the most difficult part of the wedding preparation.. the traditional ti qin, guo da li, an chuang, ROM, banquet, bridal stuff...

Just now i went to our new house to put something, and also to see if the other 2 defects had been done.. indeed it was done, but HDB didn't call hubby to inform him about this.. later gotta find the contact number n ask them.. so that we can retrieve the keys from them..

Now,we will b waiting for SBC Design to call me,to make an appointment to see the designs of the layouts... finally done something for the flat.. quotation ok.. so if next week we go down to view the designs, if there is no problems with the designs,i think the renov work can start soon!! yippee!

I told hubby we need to go n see the paint colour, as he decided to do the painting ourselves.. if give it to the company to handle for us, it cost us near to 1K, hubby think it's not worth it.. but well, i respect his decision, since we r really budget about this.. i'm looking forward to see the layout for the kitchen n living room.. hope it will be up to our expectations...

Meeting up with contractor

just now when i was in a meeting, i received a call from the renovation company.... our design n quotation are done... initially made an appointment with the coordinator Victor that we will b coming down tmr morn... but hubby reminded me that he may go cruise tmr with his colleagues.. so, i called Victor back again, telling him if we can go down n meet him this evening instead...

made an appointment with him at 7.30pm... so i'll be meeting hubby there after my work.. hope the designs are up to my standard n expectation...

Updates on flat

just now morning, went to search for contractors... HDB gave us a booklet on some of the registered renovation companies... 1 of them were located at Jurong East Central. hubby n I went to have breakfast then to the company...

uncle gave us some suggestions on how we can do the kitchen n etc.. we oso told him wat we need to do for our premium flat... he will do the designs for us, n do a quotation for us... he said he will call us most prob next week around Wed.. if he can do it by next week, we will most prob meet him on Saturdays again to discuss further..

After that,we went to hubby's old house area to look for another company, to see what they can provide us.. this shop was super disappointing.. uncle kept asking us wat we wana do, how we wana do... i was like, walao.. if everything ask us, then we engage u for wat.. might as well engage ID n do.. or we can b ID ourselves already.. unlike the 1st shop that we went to, uncle will tell us roughly how to do etc.. this uncle simply ask us wat we want the designs to be... i have no confidence in this shop at all.. so didn't tell him all the things we need to do...

will be waiting for the 1st shop to call me.. n we'll see how much they quote us.. hope it's within our budget..

back from CNY celebration

i'm back yesterday from Kedah, hubby's hometown... spent 5 days there, 2nd time leaving my family for CNY... 1st time was with 1 of my ex,but this time was different. i was with my hubby...

though fell sick on the 1st day of CNY, but recovered much the next day... hubby's aunt went to get chinese medicine for me.. i envy them,all of them are very close with one another.. their bonding is very close..

among all the family members i met during this period, i like xiao shu, xiao shen shen the most.. like to talk to them as they r very friendly,just like my 5th uncle n aunt... hubby's aunts are all very friendly.. uncles wise also not bad,but mayb it's bcoz men n women r different, so men tend to b a bit more 'stern'... hubby has a lot of cousins too.. coz FIL has 9 siblings, of course will have more cousins... among all these cousins,i like to talk to xiao shu's son Wen Ao, n hubby's godma's daughter Xiuxiu...

i also celebrated my 26th birthday overseas for the 1st time... this time round,we had the whole family to celebrate with me.. hubby's 4th aunt n youngest aunt went to cake shop to buy a birthday cake.. after which,all of them sang a birthday song for me.. after making a wish,we cut the cake, n of course distribute the cake.. hmmm,the cake is nice.. it was freshly baked from the oven that day... this birthday was special, bcoz there r so many ppl celebrating with me, n of course not to forget,my hubby... this is the 1st time he celebrated my bday as the status of husband n wife...

Updates 01-02-08

Today morn met up with the HDB people at 9am... spotted some defects, so wanted them to rectify them.. after buying a padlock, i dropped hubby at our new house carpark, n i proceeded to school...

finally after a long day in school, it was knock off time.. went to HIA with hubby to meet up with MotionImage person in charge Priscilla.. our pics n videos r ready for collection.. they were very kind to rush them out for us, so that we can show to relatives during CNY... reached there rather late, Pris showed us the videos 1st.. n we were impressed by MotionImage of course.. after that,she brought out the pictures to show us... Pris kept praising us that we are photogenic, haha but mayb it's just a way to please their customers...we were quite happy with them too..

our pkg includes 300 prints... bcoz our ROM was on the same day too,so of course we over shot the number of photos by ard 150.. We agreed to develop all 450+ pictures,n need no more words, we need to pay extra money.. but the photos turn out well.. we were very satisfied with their work.. hubby kept nodding his head too..

b4 paying the remaining amount, Pris asked us for permission that, they would like to use our pictures n videos as a sample to be placed for them, n or even HIA to use.. to help publicize both MotionImage n HIA.. as MotionImage is just beside HIA.. they work together.. we agreed.. hubby even commented that our wedding pictures still have people wanting to use as publication.. n i joked with him that it's all bcoz we look good in photos mah.. haha.. indeed,the photos did turn out well...

MotionImage really impressed us.. their prices are considered comprehensive, and yet up to standard.. viewed their works b4 signing with them.. sis-in-law n mother-in-law were with us that time b4 we signed up with MotionImage,n indeed,they didn't disappoint us.. from wat we saw from the highlights they prepared, many of my frds said that they r good.. n i admitted.. they r good.. I would recommend this shop,not just bcoz their price is reasonable, but service not bad too.. products oso up to satisfactory.. Thanks so much MotionImage!!
