Updates

I should have updated my stuff last friday... but was sick.... Bcoz i think i'm already very fantastic to have completed some stuff in just 1 day... hehe

Fri morn reached school at around 7.20am... bcoz of sports' day.... did not drive my car, as will b going out with Bong after that.... So after the event, which was after 1pm... i quickly took a bus wif Yifen & Beeyan to CCK interchange... then meet Bong at JE.. then we proceeded to International Plaza to collect our wedding bands.. which i waited for 2 weeks... Finally, i was so happy that our customised wedding bands are ready for collection!!

After that, we took MRT to Dhoby Ghaut Park Mall to choose our wedding invitation card design... The design was chosen.. of course i did not choose the red ones... mine is ivory white, vertical type... the design will be sent to me within 2 weeks... after our approval, then they will start printing...

Happily, we went to purchase movie tickets to watch Pirates of the Carribean 3... Was already unwell, but die die oso must watch... though very tired, but still enjoyed the movie... compared to the previous 2, this one doesn't seem to be that good... Then who knows, Sat was down with super bad cough n high fever... Bong took me to the doc, and he took care of me... But now still cough as if my lungs are coming out lah.. as usual...

Wats next to update?? emm.. i think is my gown fitting... down counting man!!! i'm looking forward to tat, really.... ahahahaa....

A Packed Tuesday

Today, we CL department PM teachers needed to reach the school around 9am, to get ready for our department festival, cum fund-raising activity - Rice Dumpling Festival...

The actual festival should b June 19th... but bcoz it is still holidays, and somemore this week is the last week of the school term.. so we had to hold this activity today...

I was supposed to reach around 8.30am, or even earlier, to retrieve the dumplings from the vendor... i was one of the committee members in the Rice Dumpling Team... it was a much more relax activity this time round... mayb bcoz we changed vendor, and all the dumplings were already there for us to pack.. we only need to cut the whole big string, and pack them in a plastic bag... unlike the previous time, we need to rush around like mad people.. haha...

today's timetable was suspended due to P1P2 concert rehearsal.... so my timetable was rather packed... but still ok lah, i have some time to clear my marking.... =)

After work, i have to rush home n bath.. bcoz i need to go n teach tuition... so tired... tues n wed are my busiest time.... not just the timetable, but bcoz these 2 days are my tuition days after work...

But today my mood wasn't affected bcoz of busy schedule... normally i would flare up easily.. I received a call from the jewellery shop where we customised our wedding bands... Actually liked the bands from Poh Heng, but decided to go Kelly's uncle's shop... Our wedding bands are customised... The girl called me to inform me that our wedding bands are ready for collection!! I have been looking forward to that!! Been waiting for their call for the past few days, but didn't dare to call and ask...

Will go down on Friday to collect after the Sports Meet... Friday will also be a busy day for me! morn is Sports Meet, which i need to wake up very early.... After the Meet, will go collect the wedding bands 1st, then proceed down to Park Mall to choose our wedding invitation card design... Then, will go watch movie!! I'll be looking forward to Friday!!!! Yeah!

Updating my wedding stuff

Yesterday, i went to Causeway Point with my brother.... He suggested to go there 1st to shop.. As i told him i wanted to buy a pair of wedding shoes... simple pair and yet not too high heels... so that after my wedding day, i can wear that to work... i can't wear high heels, bcoz i will fall down.. haha

So there we drove to Causeway Point... it was supposed to be my brother accompanying me to buy what i want for my wedding... but in the end, he was the one who bought a lot of things... Yes, i did buy a pair of simple shoes.... Anyway, my gown is so long that can't even see my shoes.. so buy such an expensive or special shoes for what??? I know i'm not tall, but simply can't wear super high heels as i will fall n roll down the stairs.... i have to wear the shoes for almost the whole day, so i must get a pair which i can wear comfortably...

i saw this pair, n felt that it was simple, n yet not so high.... so after trying, i bought it.... but if saw another pair of nicer ones, then i'll change my wedding shoes!!

Finally, i transferred the pics i've taken from my handphone to the PC.... The following 2 gowns were taken in April when i went down to SBway for gown choosing.... the blue one was the 1 i liked so much, but in the end didn't choose that for my EG.... the EG was another piece, but didn't take down the pic.... The salesgirl saw me pondering for so long, so she said i can wear this for my indoor PS... so for indoor PS, besides my AD EG, i can also wear this for photoshoot loh..

This white piece is my AD WG..... Not very clear though.... behind has many other gowns... so when i go down for my fitting in June, i will take a nice photo of it.... I like the bottom part of the dress.... folded type.. i can't wear mermaid cut gown, coz of my size n height... i did try a gown which is mermaid cutting, but simply not nice... looks smaller in size.... folded type gown looks more like a princess type... My FH saw this, he said i looked better in this... so we set on this gown... u'll get to see on my wedding day of course!! haha....

Hope i dun grow fat when i go down for gown fitting in June oh..... haha

Wedding Preparation

Come to think of it, when it comes to wedding preparation, it really takes up a lot of our time n effort... do this n that... but the whole brain is still wondering what are the things are done, wat are not.....



Let me list out what are the things that had been settled:

1. Wedding Date: 30th Dec 2007



2. Hotel: Holiday Inn Atrium ( At Outram/Havelock)



3. Bridal Studio: Seletar Broadway ( At AMK ) - chosen WG n EG



4. Proposal Ring: From Goldheart



5. Wedding Rings: From Candice Jewellery ( Jiayi's uncle's shop )



6. Menu for wedding dinner: settled, 8 dishes, contract signed



7. Date for photoshoot: done, will have gown fitting on 8th June, photoshoot on 15th June



8. Brothers & Sisters list: Ready.. ( Bro: Dehua, Desmond, Allan, Billene, Weibing; Sis: Angeline aka my elder sister, Jiayi, Yuexia, Jie En, Liling aka my cousin )



9. Number of tables: 26 ( guest list more or less is ready, need to be re-confirmed )



10. Engaged photography n videography services ( MotionImage )



11. Invited Jiayi n hubby Roderick to be the Emcees for the day



12. Gotten the Emcee script and programme list for the day. ( need to do some amendment)


13. Guo Da Li date: 18th Dec 2007


14. Ring pillow n ang bao box provided by HIA, borrowed another 1 from Jiayi - may do myself... ( see how 1st )


15. wedding shoes ( temporary this pair - simple n yet i think is nice, after wedding, can still wear to work!!! )

Undone events / stuff:

1. Invitation cards and inserts



2. Go ROM office and book our date ( will go book before July )



3. Wedding accessories for tea ceremony use



4. wedding theme, favours ( had the choices in mind, will get that fixed when food tasting )



5. food tasting ( will do it in either Nov/early Dec )



6. guo da li event - what are the things we want n etc



7. buy jewellery for actual day event ( will try to get that done before Nov )



8. not yet fix the time for the bridegroom to come over n fetch me



9. guest sitting arrangement ( need to be done by mid Dec )



10. go through the whole process of the event

Seems like some done, some undone... more to go!!! though i think i already very li hai... got the most important things done within 1 month... but come to think of it when i typed the things that we had not done, i started to be worried... We fixed our Bridal, hotel within 1 month upon his proposal...

some of the things undone actually can b settled very soon... but i still taking my own sweet time... i hope i have enough time to get them all done...

Aniway, my wedding gown is something like that... not exactly the same.... it's tube dress, bottom part of the dress is folded type... i like such a princess type wedding gowns.. coz i dun look good in straight cut as i'm not tall enough!! will update u people of the gowns i have if possible!!!!!
