i went to watch this show a few days ago with Bong..... it's a 113min show... main casts were Jay Chou, Gong Li n Chow Yun Fat.....
I had always thought that Jay Chou's acting skills were merely ordinary.... The movie just wanted to use his popularity to gain good movie results...
After watching this show, i think that i was wrong... Jay Chou's performance in this show was quite good.... The making of the movie was very great.... their costumes were all so grand.... Even the palace maids' costumes were also so fantastic... but, r u sure that the maids were allowed to wear so sexy??? i think it's just for the effects.....
Chow Yun Fat's costumes had the look of an emperor.... but it seemed heavy..... haha... But he is such a tyrant.... just to protect his dragon seat, he can kill his own son.... rather cruel... Jay Chou eventually oso die lah.... but die with pride as he killed himself....
I seldom wanted to watch Chinese movie, because they can b found in VCD/DVD very soon... but I think this show is worth watching..... If u wanted to catch a nice Chinese movie, y not consider this??
