Countdowning to my Wedding - 5 months!

Exactly 5 more months to my Wedding!!!! i'm doing my countdown every now n then... I hope b4 my AD comes, every 30th of the month,i can update u abt my wedding stuff... esp for those who will always visit my blog..

Well,wat do i have to update u?? Oh,i've collected my invitation cards... FINALLY!! waited 4 so long... so far, we have tied more than half of the cards needed to distribute to guests... I'll keep 1 for myself as momento.... Had went to alter my wedding band... Can collect already, but no time to go down, most prob will ask my bro to collect for me....

Had bought some simple decor for our ang bao box... we bought the box some months ago.... dun plan to take from HIA since we have to return after the banquet,so decided to DIY... but our ang bao box will b extremely simple.... anyway, after wedding, we can still use the box... Bong said, make it simple is better... though i thought i may want to buy more stuff to decor... but nvm, as long as it's DIY by ourselves, i dun mind... i prefer to do things personally, so that it will b more meaningful...

Aug 12th will b meeting the jie meis n helpers... will let them get to know one another... brainstorming of the sabo games, duties for the day n evening.... Looking forward to our wedding everyday... Hope i will b blessed with happiness and showered with love by Bong from now til the end of our lives...

Balloting Exercise - Jurong West

Yesterday, i received an email from HDB that Balloting Exercise at Jurong West area is open for application!!! Wow,i'm so excited!!! The blocks opp my house had been there for quite a couple of years, but not open for purchase, finally yesterday, they were released for purchase!!

of course,i quickly typed the necessary infor needed in the form n submitted it online... we applied 4-room... there was a showroom of 4-rm n 5-rm... Since yesterday i'm on MC, so i went down with Bong to take a look... Though 4-rm is rather small, but at least not much sharp edges n angles... didn't regret registering for 4-rm.. next time got more money liao, then change to a bigger one oso ok... the floor tiles, room flooring, toilet, shower, shower room r all done liao... if dun plan to change the tiles n flooring, can straightaway move in liao... How we wish we can get the 4-rm flat.. though small, but at least cleaning won't b too taxing...

Results will be out in Sept.. if successful, we'll get a queue number, same s the previous time, they'll give us a number n date to go down to HDB hub to choose the flat of our choice... choosing of flat units should b around Oct/Nov... thats wat the Infoweb said... If can get, we will b able to move in most prob b4 my 26th birthday! Pray loh... if can get,i blif we'll b much happier on top of getting married...

Wedding updates - Collection of Invitation Cards

Another update of my wedding stuff: collection of Invitation Cards!!! Yes!!!

I've went to choose my invitation card design quite a few months ago, n yet, i only get to collect this today.... Somemore, it's not them who contacted me to inform me that i could go down n collect.. A few days ago,i emailed to them, i die die oso have to collect them on this Saturday, or else, i dunno how many more weeks i would have to wait... =(

Inserts were already done long ago... this company AT really is a disappointment... Lucky,only this time, no more 2nd time... Finally, i can start folding the inserts and start tying them with the cards!!! Just to update u, just in case u forgot how my card looks like... it's vertical, ivory white in colour.... not red of course, not squarish of course... not going to upload the pic here,haha!!!! After all,as long as i managed to collect the cards before Aug,i'm very happy liao... coz i dun want to do things so slow.... such things can be settled n done with very fast one.. if it's not bcoz of them,i think we've already tied the inserts n cards!!! well,i'm going to start tying!! =)

Our Cutie Pie - Coco Chin

I was on MC for 2 days.. due to big ulcer in my gum,near my wisdom tooth... this year is considered very bad year for me,as all my sickness come from my mouth,gums... So,i'm at home accompanying our 4eva cutie pie Coco...

When i was using my pc,Coco was sleeping in his cage.. as usual.. his usual nap for the day... he got used to b alone at home in the day,so he had nothing to do,but to sleep loh... But mayb these few days' weather quite cooling,so he slept very well... he kept snoring very loudly in the cage,oh my god... noisy..

my sis kept complaining that i din take recent photos of our precious puppy.. so,now i take liao ok?? haha...

when he was sleeping soundly in the cage,i quickly took my camera n took a shot of him... but who knows,mayb due to the flash,it woke him up.. n he stared at me.. see the pic n u'll know.. so i continued taking photos of him... he really woke up,so he sat in the cage,n the final shot!!! ok,done!!

he was being awakened by me.. haha... He's 4eva cute n naive in our eyes... Angie,u said u miss him so much... then come back soon loh ok?? dun stay out for too long... u had fulfilled your dreams for going overseas.. so Coco is still waiting for u at home!! come back soon!!

Photo selection @ Seletar 07-07-07

Early in the morning, we proceeded down to Seletar for our photo selection... was so worried that they won't turn out nice, as during my PS,my complexion was so bad... had an appointment with them @ 10am... but started choosing at ard 10.30am...

they had developed about 130+ photos for us to choose... oh my god... they turned out better than i expected...esp the indoor ones... we were mentally prepared that outdoor ones sure will b much nicer... but indoor oso not bad... after shortlisting... we ended up with 64 photos! oh my, it was far away from our budget...

i couldn't resist the temptation,so i decided to leave the decision n final selection to Bong... luckily,he's determined... after much elimination,we chose 40 photos.. which means topping up 10 more... actually quite a lot of them r nice,but we really dun wish to spend so much money on topping up... we were extremely happy with outdoor shots... our 3-in-1 photo will b outdoor shots.. the table top will b indoor.... i used my hp to take some shots,but not really clear n not well taken...

i have to admit that our PG that day, Ah Tao, is good in catching angle.. the photos he took are really nice.... my bf is full of praise.... but to b realistic,we really dun wish to spend so much, though we can afford to pay the extra 34 photos..

we also had chosen our hand bouquet for the day, and the car decor... ppl who know me well should know my fav colour... so my hand bouquet will b a mixture of lilies n blue roses... car decor will b in blue as well, with the wedding bears which my sis bought for me...

Sept will go down to view the album layout.. thanks to Bong,or else i would have agreed to top that much photos!! lucky got him... he was the 1 who chose all the 40 photos.... some photos i put up here n mostly rejected ones... i think all these r rejected ones if i din forget

my wedding car decoration - bears

today,i received an email from my sis... she bought a pair of wedding bears for me,it's for the wedding car decor!! it's very nice!! thanks so much babe.. thanks so much for your gift..

when i informed my sis about my marriage in Dec,she was even more excited than me... she gave me all the support i needed... it was then when i sat down n think of the past... we used to quarrel so much... argue this n that,as we r both stubborn n obstinate... we shared the same room..so we always had disagreements.. but i have to agree,after her departure,we actually became closer... mayb less meetings, less quarrels...

angie always get so excited when i update her about my wedding stuff... we dun get so many chances to chat online,or even on phone conversation,so i'll try to update my stuff into my blog,so that she can know more....

still the same old words... angie, thanks so much... u r always my sister... the sister who always give me support!!!! will miss u when u r away from us!! u take care ok???

Exactly 6 more months to my Wedding!

exactly 6 more months to my wedding day!! was looking forward to that....

yesterday,did some things... all related to my wedding preparation! morn attended an Art course, of course not related to my wedding lah haha.. had a meeting with the hotel coordinator Ivan yesterday at 1pm,at HIA... so when the course refused to end at 12.10pm, i had no choice but to leave 1st...

so,i was late for ard 5min,n met up with Ivan.. of course not just me alone lah... Bong was oso there... Ivan brought us to 2 places,for us to choose where we wanted to hold our solemnisation ceremony on our big day.. for those who do not know,we will b holding our wedding banquet, ROM solemnisation,tea ceremony on the same day, 30/12/2007... he brought us to the terrace n the foyer room.. after some consideration,i asked Bong for opinion,n he wanted to hold it at the terrace, n i followed suit... So,finally,we got to see how these 2 places looked like... 2 things set: 1, Solemnisation venue.. 2, Ring pillow n stationery will b provided by HIA,n i liked the accessories!

Yesterday, atrium ballroom was decorating with crystal theme as that evening has a wedding going on,Ivan brought us to view the room.. n i asked a lot of questions,n Ivan was busy answering all of them.. Asked him for view on renting 1 more LCD projector, but in the end,decided not to rent... another querie solved!

We had yet to set a date for food tasting,most prob in late Oct or early Nov bah... Ivan told us that,during Sept,HIA will produce new wedding theme!! wow,bong n me were excited! coz we hoped the new theme is a colour we like,so that we could b the 1st few couples to use that theme!! n wedding favours will also have new ones!! we will decide on that during food tasting..

after meeting up with Ivan,we proceeded to Excelsior shopping centre to collect the wedding card inserts... though the cards not ready!! so angry with AT.... Tdragons is more efficient!!

Evening at 7pm,Bong's family n mine met at JP Crystal Jade Kitchen for dinner... coz becoming in-laws soon,so we arranged to have a meal together... lucky my mum didn't do anything that made us lose our appetite... but they were all mentally prepared,as Bong n me had 1st informed them of my mum's pattern.. close frds of mine should understand my mum's pattern.. unbearable.. but yesterday, she put up a very good mask... can go for Oscar,that was what Bong said.. haha...

actually,now more or less,our stuff is ok liao... just need more following-up, n reviewing... next week,we have another thing to settle,n that's our wedding photos... had an appointment with STBway at 10am to view the photos n select... Hope the photos turn out well... A very enriched Saturday for us...
