Dinner with my family

Fri went to have dinner with my family @ JP Pu Tien.. some disagreements that evening.. dun wish to talk abt it animore... n since it did not affect our mood to have dinner together, it's even better..

We brought Jaden along for the dinner.. n of course my parents r happy to see him around!!! my dad finally has the chance to carry Jaden, but a pity i did not snap pic of him with Jaden..

He quite like my sis i can say.. haha... he allowed to my sis to carry him loh... this baby hoh, really can b v naughty..



My mum was so happy that she can carry Jaden for quite some time.. spent ard 2 hours+ at JP b4 going home.. but bcoz my car cannot carry so many ppl, so my bro n sis went off to buy things.. so we drove my parents home b4 we head home...

We enjoyed the dinner, as we find the food actually not bad.. but i hope tat such incident won't happen again lah.. what we want is just to sit down n have our dinner together as a family.. n we did it!!

Jaden turns 11 months old today!

Today marks Jaden's 11th month to this world.. so fast hoh, he's 11 months old now...

just now evening when i stepped out of the lift, i can hear baby's crying.. thought who cried, but as i walked nearer to in laws' unit, i recognise the bad crying sound.. it was from Jaden! He hurt his hand.. too painful that he cried out bitterly n loudly..

FIL wanted to bring him out for a walk, when at the gate, Jaden tried to touch this n that.. n FIL didn't notice, Jaden swung his hand against the metal lock, n the pain made him scream n cry so bitterly.. oh my.. but no worries, he is ok now...

for Jaden's milestones, he can sit up on his own.. crawl (long ago), but now changed his crawling pattern.. now is 4-legged liao.. n he is learning how to stand.. several times, he showed his buttock high n legs straight, but couldn't get himself up.. haven gotten the right technique.. sometimes on the bed or on the ground, he crawl towards us, or a stool, he would grab n then make himself stand up.. n he is happy.. when we r ard to support him, he would even let go of his hands n see if he can stand straight.. but everytime he will fall.. luckily we r around to supervise this active baby... but sometimes he can hang on for that 2-3seconds b4 his buttock land down again lah..

his tooth came out a bit liao.. but wat's funny was, he only has 1 tooth coming out leh.. MIL says it's strange.. normally should have 2 teeth coming out together, y Jaden so special only 1... it puzzles me too leh..

N now, i tried letting him sit on the baby car seat.. tried for 2-3 days liao.. n this was done when it's only the both of us.. both me n Jaden..haven tried far locations yet, i think he will scream bah.. hehe...

Will b having his bday bash in 2 sessions.. haven decided on the caterer.. mayb this weekend will do research again.. cake may go Bengawan Solo.. they have Mickey Mouse cake.. looks cute.. thats for 14th.. which only invite my relatives.. both maternal n paternal..

actual bday will b holding on 21st.. his actual bday date.. that cake i found a lady to do for me.. customised with mickey theme.. tat cake gonna cost a little bomb... caterer oso haven decide..decor wise, will make it simple n cosy.. no elaborate decor or celebration.. only wish to hold the party in a relaxed manner with friends n relatives around to share the joy.. haven really sit down n plan what to do actually.. i should start liao.. not much time left... i gonna pull myself up... haha..

Ever since Jaden's arrival, our lives changed.. n i'm happy that my son is so adorable.. though he can b very naughty n spoilt.. but i simply love him too much.. i'm looking so forward to him learning new things all the time.. i want to go through all his milestones of life.. each development each stage i oso dun wish to give it a miss.. some parents may b very open n fine with it if they were to miss, but i wouldn't.. i wish i can b by his side whenever he learns anything..

Busy Saturday 17-10-09

brought our precious home as usual on Friday.. he slept as early as 10pm, n woke up ard 8.30am on Sat morn..

Brought him for a swim at St91 swimming complex, with his new thermal swimwear.. our little baby loved it.. that he wouldn't want to go home!! haha.. he really loved playing with the water, even though the water got into his eyes, he's also fine with it... haha..

should have brought his Ultraman waverider.. coz we only brought his neck float. he used it at home n he was fine with it, but yest when we put it on him at the pool, he was obviously very scared n cried.. so i had no choice but to remove it, n assist him all the way in the water..

after his swim, brought him home n i bathed him, then let him take his nap.. after which, went to JP for lunch, then went over to in laws' house..

Evening, we went for granny's bday celebration at Bedok.. our choice was right for not bringing Jaden along.. it was very hot, n i'm sure our precious cannot stand it.. we had a great time at the dinner.. so rare for all of us to sit down together...

reached home ard 10pm, as we were meeting Jas with Michael, Kelly with Rod & Princeton... they came over n watch soccer together.. ard 12am+ then they leave.. Princeton was tired so they had to leave..

Our Sat practically rather packed for that day ya.. haha.. but ok lah..

Very soon, it will be Jaden's bday, and i will get to see my good friends again..

I treasure this group of friends.. n i sincerely hope Princeton n Jaden can be very good friends, just like me n Kelly.. n i hope we can gather again soon loh.. coz i love all of them...

October - many birthdays!

October is a busy month... so many ppl birthday in this month.. 1st was my dad.. followed on by today my MIL... this sat, which is tmr, will go celebrate my granny's bday.. then next Tues is my sis'.. next Sun will b my mum's... busy aren't I?

Actually we went to pre-celebrated MIL's bday on Wed liao.. went JP eat pu tien... coz hubby need to work OT on thur n today... n Wed he off, so arranged to eat that day..

Just now, b4 hubby came home, he went to buy a small cake for MIL.. a simple birthday song, making wish, blow out candle, n cut cake..

N now after eating the cake, both hubby n I are at our own house, together with Jaden.. he is sleeping now.. slept ard 10pm after coaxing him, tats y i can blog.. but gotta go off liao, as i need to bring him back to the room n sleep..

tmr will b going to Bedok for the dinner.. so far.... so will not bring Jaden along.. It's an annual celebration i would attend... n this year with the presence of my sis, i'm sure it will b more happier... my granny loves my sis a lot.. she sure v happy to have my sis around this year.. looking forward to have a big gathering tmr!

The Praise Baby collection

has been working in an environment which religion is diff from my lifestyle.. since 2004 when i had my 1st practicum, til now, i'm still at the same place...

my good friends are all christians... actually when i started work at PHPPS, i was deeply attracted by its culture. Though not a christian, but i respect the religion.. n i loved their singspiration..

started reading bible a few years ago, but had not finished reading.. felt slightly bad about it..

recently, my mood has been quite bad.. really.. dunno is stress, tired, unhappiness bottled up for too long or what, i've been feeling rather foul... n today was 1 of my unhappy days.. will not elaborate more...

kept telling myself i must increase my EQ from that incident onwards, but i still failed today.. wat to do huh...

just now went to west mall with my mum.. walked into Precious Thots.. they were playing christian songs.. n i walked forward to take a look at the albums they displayed.. found 1 set which i myself rather like.. some songs were sung b4 by our ex-preachers, n i loved it.. after consideration, i bought it.. it's actually for babies lah.. but the rhythms are much soother.. a good piece of music to let babies or children to listen to..

when i went back to my car, i immediately put 1 cd in n listen.. n indeed my mood became better.. whenever i listen to christian songs, i feel so much better... soothed my emotions n was able to relax n enjoy the music.. i like it!! will let Jaden listen.. i'm sure such rhythm will benefit Jaden.. n of course must let him get in contact with diff sorts of music..

I'm going to listen to the CDs.... it's just so nice to listen to.. n i hope i can think, act better after listening.. hope the music can calm my nerves, and make me more reasonable..

Our Saturday

My Sat morn's plan was wrecked by the rain..... haiz... wanted to bring Jaden to Safra Jurong's swimming pool.. but who koes morn started to rain, the whole sky was dark.. there goes my plan.. nvm, will go next week!! specially bcoz of Jaden, i bought myself a new set of swimming wear too loh.. hehe

left our house at 1pm+ as Jaden was taking his 1st nap, after waking up at 9.30am.. went to IMM for lunch.. n next, went to bring him sit on the animal ride.. he was happy!! It was a cold day today, so we let him wear the jacket that hubby bought for him a few weeks ago.. it was obviously too big for him lah of course, but nvm lah, he can wear longer oso...

Evening, brought Jaden over to my mum's place.. He didn't cry this time round, phew... my mum was obviously v happy to see her grandson over, n yet no crying or shouting! Jaden was very curious about Coco, n kept looking at him.. n even laughed out a few times..

MIL went BBQ in the evening, so we acc my FIL go eat dinner.. my family met up with my other relatives just now.. thought of going over to meet them, but who koes by the time i bathed Jaden in the evening after dinner, coaxed him to nap, they had already finished their meals.. so i missed the chance to meet up with them.. quite disappointing actually.. but nvm, next week will meet again, as my granny's birthday celebration is next weekend.. n now more crowded, coz my sis is coming back on Tues!!! Yeah.. finally loh..

Tmr, i will b rather busy too.. haha.. gotta bring Coco for injection, n rush my remarks for the report books.. 22 more to go.. headache... but nvm, whenever i think of Jaden, i will b very happy... just hope weekends dun pass so fast..

4th Oct - trial class @ Gymboree

back date a bit.. been too busy with work, n was rather unwell... think gastric flu is coming back, but need to endure this whole week 1st, b4 i go see doc...

Last Sunday, went to Gymboree for trial lesson on Play & Learn class, for babies btwn 10-16months.. booked an apptment with them a few days ago b4 going.. helped Princeton booked a slot too..

went in the noon, luckily Jaden managed to wake up on time to set off.. but bcoz we parked our car at Vivo, so need to walk a distance to Harbourfront.. Kelly n family were there, so they started the class 1st, together with other parents who booked the same slot.. we missed the singing part..

subsequently, there were some 'tasks' for the babies to do n parents were expected to guide n support.. Jaden did not dare to climb up the slope, while other babies were doing it happily n confidently..

there were songs, games, n activities too.. Overall, Jaden was happy.. when playing the parachute game, he was laughing out loud.. so funny.. last part b4 the class ended, the in-charge would blow bubble for each baby, with the singing of the baby's name.. Jaden was the last.. 1 big bubble for him, reaction was to see if baby will go n touch the bubble, n indeed Jaden went to touch n burst the bubble.. after that, the in-charge will blow many small bubbles for them.. Jaden was curious n happy.. kept looking @ the bubbles that were floating around him..

A 45-min trial lesson.. n of course need to pay.. i dun wana apply for the membership.. coz i think once in a blue moon come n book for a trial lesson is ok... every week come down is not my cup of tea, as it is not near loh..n oso wana see how the class is like.. n at least i now koe how they conduct the lesson for the little ones...

went to have kopi with Kelly n family.. but bcoz hubby wana have dinner with his parents, so we had to reject Kelly n Rod for dinner.. they were disappointed i koe, but hubby said next time will have dinner with them... i hope so loh..

Though the lesson did not REALLY interest me that much, but at least i koe what it is all about now.. i dun mind booking another lessn for the next stage of learning.. but will depends by then if i'm still interested in going..

Bought GPS - finally

1st Oct was Children's Day, both hubby & I didn't work, so brought Jaden home on Wed night.. as planned, we went JP shop... n spent $$$$ loh.... sob sob..

Initially saw a 42" TV on sale from Courts.. shortlisted 2 sets.. but in the end chose the other set, with no vouchers.... hmmm... n damage was 1.5K... now in the living room liao, as it was delivered over yest noon.... the current 1 tat we had has been moved to our master bedroom, for me to watch tv if i were to b in the room... gotta go starhub buy 1 more SCV box on Sunday!

went to Kiddy Palace, as hubby mentioned wana buy 100 coloured balls for Jaden, n there we went... indeed Jaden was happy to see so many balls in his playzone... hehe...

I told hubby i wana buy a GPS... so tat i won't lose my way animore loh.. i poor in looking at maps.. n always been very resistant in going to places tat i dunno or unsure of.. esp north, east side places... went to Challenger, told the salesperson i wana get an idiotic-proof GPS, n user friendly.. i myself dunno which is good.. so when the salesperson say this model quite ok, then i didn't ask any further or ask him to demonstrate, just took the box n go pay liao.. haha..

Later this evening, gotta go Orchid Country Club to attend a wedding dinner.. hubby's polymate's wedding,, they came to our wedding in 2007, so this time round, we r going too.. both the groom n bride r hubby's polymates, n they r v adorable group.. 1 of my shortlisted venue for banquet, but gotta eliminate as it was too far.. hehe.. now finally has the chance to go there in see.. looking forward.. so later my GPS is going to be useful!!! Yeah, i will not lose my way again!
