Patrick's Wedding 29-05-10

attended 1 of my sec sch mate's wedding last weekend at Bukit Batok CSC Club... Patrick was also hubby's colleague in Showa, but now he didn't work there animore..

We reached rather early i can say.. haha.. but didn't enter the ballroom as early.. we were busy taking photos! but so scary loh, the banquet holds 45 tables! tats a lot!!!

Managed to sit with my close frds.. n some other sec sch frds at the other tables.. hubby's colleagues were also at e other tables..

they held the ROM solemnisation during the banquet, straightaway after the 1st march in... after which the dishes came.. had a great time eating n chatting, n taking photos too! luckily both Tian & Jaden were not here.. it's quite cramp.. aniway we stayed til quite late too lah..

The last event that i'm in charge of..

finally, the event that i'm in charge of was over yesterday!!! after a few weeks of busy schedule, n managed to get it over.. i'm so happy!

I'm back into the team of fund raising.. Chinese festivals, we have CNY, yuan xiao, duan wu, zhong qiu, these 4 big festivals.. CNY & zhong qiu, are the biggest event in the school, n all staff will be involved in the celebration..

For me, i'm the head to lead my other 5 members in the introduction of the other 2 festivals, yuan xiao & duan wu. we have to sell tang yuan during yuan xiao, n rice dumplings during duan wu.. this year is a bit difficult, as all my members are newbies.. despite me being v sick for the past few weeks, i still need to do followup on e event..

After closing orders, collating all information, the event was finally carried out successfully yest... we were all tired beat! managed to raise $1100+ for the school.. after the event, still need to tie some ends..next week when go back school then i do..

though coming up still have other functions coming up, but at least i'm not the head to lead the whole event.. just a small prawn in the other upcoming events... not being the head can b more relaxing.. n the big rock of mine can b down.. the rest just wait for instructions n then just do watever we r required to can already!

I was really tired! but tmr morn still gotta wake up early, though i'm on childcare leave, coz need to bring Jaden for his injection cum routine checkup.. going to recuperate soon! but mind u, dun talk to me about HOLIDAYs! the mention of it makes my blood boil.. will update abt this issue soon in my next post. (if i do remember).. haha!

Busy months

Finally the kids had finished their SA1s... but of course, results not as good loh.. cannot expect much aniway as i'm taking the last class (again)...

still have many things to do, even though they had finished their exams.. syllabus carry on as usual.. and analysis haven do, as i haven collect back the exam papers in full.. dunno wat to do if cannot collect back all.. blame the pupils, blame the parents for not checking, not signing, not bringing back to school!

the last event that i'm in charge of is finally coming to an end! our CL department's fund raising event, selling of rice dumpling event, will be held on next Tues.. finally we closed the orders yest, n had confirmed everything with my shifu, as she'll fax the details to the supplier. there r so many things to do.. i'm the overall in charge of this event, and my members are all newbies.. either freshly graudated from NIE, or untrained teachers (going to NIE for training soon).. I have to make sure all is on the smooth run..

esp when i'm sick for the past few days, MC for almost the whole week.. many ends to tie n catch up with..i just hope, the event can be carried out w/o hiccups next week..

holidays coming soon, but not for us, that soon!!! 1st week of holiday n last week of holiday ALL taken up!!! i'll b attending a 3-day conference at NTU during the 1st week.n then course in school too. last week, all 5 days are down for courses n meetings!i felt so sad...

last week when i was on mc, wed 1 day, back to work on thur, then fri MC again til this Mon, Tue on leave as we brought Jaden back to KK for his followup.. only went back to work on Wed. though i still wake up early to acc Jaden, n til 10pm+ b4 proceeding home, but the feeling is diff.. felt so much relaxed w/o having to rush to work, bothered abt work etc... really wish to take a break..

i hope the only 2 weeks break for us, i can really rest.. but is hard lah, coz i plan to fetch Jaden home n take care of him on my own for that 2 weeks.. looks like i seldom have the chance to rest properly ya.. mayb i shld consider Jiayi's idea... ooppppsss hahaha!! she told me something which i find mayb i shld try it out 1 day when i'm sick... hahaha! nonetheless, hope I can be more relaxed n spend my 2010 happily in PHPPS...

At the pool

despite me coughing like nobody's business, I still went on to bring Jaden to the pool, as promised... MIL brought her swimwear too, so both of us went into the pool with Jaden.. while hubby? he sat there n look after our things loh,wat else.......

Jaden is really a playful boy, who is v spoilt! He refused to let us hold onto him, wanted to play by himself.. but PLEASE! wat if he falls down n 'drink' the water? he's too young for such incidents anyway..

Were in the pool for ard 45min.. Jaden still refused to get off the pool... the weather was good i can say.. n he's wearing the thermal swimwear, so i'm not worried abt him feeling cold.. i just feel that being in the water for too long is not good for his skin, somemore little toddlers' skins are so smooth n soft...

Decided to carry him out from the pool, as he refused to get off... MIL went to bath n changed 1st, while i continued to acc him in the pool. I told him we had to get off when ah ma comes back.. but when MIL was ready, he still refused to.

Very stubborn, so i told him if he refused to listen, then we go home.. he still insisted his way, so i had to use the hard way to carry him. on the bench, i made some milk for him. MIL carried him while he was drinking. We packed our stuff n was ready to go. I just changed into my clothes, as I want to bathe at home.

Went off back to our lovenest. Bathed Jaden again, then my turn. After which, i let Jaden sleep in yaolan, n indeed soon after 5min, he dozed off n started his nap.. his nap lasted 3hr+...

Promised him to go again, but my condition is, must listen... though now he is still considered quite young to understand a lot of things, but i think this can be cultivated. but he's really too spoilt! my MIL kept saying, dun make him cry for so long... so always give in v soon.. tat makes me angry, as my effort all go into waste. coz sometimes when i started to be a bit loud, he will look at me n stop watever he's doing. I'm rather sure he understands my meaning.

But of course, if he refused to b obedient, I'm not going to let him play anything for the week. so let's see how things go ya!

Mother's Day dinner with my family

After some discussion with my bro, my bro suggested that we go somewhere else to eat, as my initial plan was to go Marina Square.. Bro went to make a reservation @ Arena Country Club, Tung Lok's restaurant..

we chose to order the buffet rather than the set menu they have for Mother's Day.. brought my maternal grandma along too! she was happy that we asked her along.. Bro went to fetch her n my parents, while i came with hubby after my work.. but i went to see my son a while 1st then had to go..

spent 2hr+ eating PLENTY of food! we were all so full!!! hubby ordered 5 cups of gui ling gao! my grandma was shocked! haha a pity that my sis was unable to join us! but nvm, she is coming back next month!!! we will then fix another day to go eat buffet again!!

Had a full n great dinner there! after which, bro sent my grandma n mum, while i drove my dad back home.. i love to have my family time coz we can talk all we want whenever we gather.. n it's fun really! but it will never be any better if ALL members are around.. Angie, we r all waiting for u to join in the next dinner gathering ok??? i miss u my sis!

Water Time @ Vivo City

This morn, i brought Jaden n mil to Vivo for a meal... n also walk walk..

Brought Jaden outdoor to play with the water.. He sure enjoyed it lah!! haha. play until he couldn't bear to leave..

We didn't bring extra clothing, neither did we bring a towel.. n so kangho, we let him play at the water fountain...

I was in charge of taking care of him, while mil go back indoor to buy him a new set of clothes for him to change after that..n it took her so long.. arrrggg.. but anyway, my son was enjoying himself..

The water kept splashing..he was so happy tat he laughed out loud.. obviously v happy..

after playing for near to 30min, we brought him away.. of course he wasn't v happy.. we quickly changed him, brought him to Toys R Us... soon, he was tired.. we decided to go home..

on the way home, he was so happy that he had played water.. he clapped his hands, made some noise.. n after we got home, mil quickly gave him warm water to bathe him again.. n get changed into casual clothings.. we let him play in his playzone for ard 5min, then i put him in the yaolan, n made him some milk.. after drinking, he was in a daze, n very soon he fell asleep by 1pm..

his nap ended at 4.15pm... v energetic haha! i'm sure he enjoyed himself today.. hope next time we go, i'll bring his thermal swimwear, so that he won't catch a cold tat easily, n we can let him play longer..

A new day of the month again

Today is the new day of the month... time flies isn't it?

Brought Jaden home yest evening... I had a very tiring working week, as i was quite tight down by work.. Felt really tired.. but still, I wana bring Jaden home..

he woke up at 1am+ for his midnite feed.. after which, he went over to sleep with hubby.. but not long after, he came to me, slept on my arms, sleeping beside me, wanting me to hug him to sleep.. n of course i slept with him on my pillow, all the way til 7.15am, when he felt hungry, n started to flip here n there..

I woke up n found out that the sky was bright, n i knew it's morning.. i quickly got up n ask hubby to wake up, as he was sleeping at the other side, soundly asleep.. i asked him to look after Jaden, afraid he might roll down the bed while i make the milk for him..

after feeding him, Jaden went back to sleep again, til 8.30am.. he couldn't sleep animore, but can see tat he's still tired.. so i put him in the yaolan.. he stayed in there til 9am+ but still didn't sleep.. just taking a rest in there.. hubby took over n look after him while i went to take my bath, prepare his stuff n bathe him..

noon time, he took his nap at 2.30pm.. n guess wat? he slept til near to 7pm.. where fil n hubby think that it's time for him to get up.. Jaden was rather unhappy at 1st, that he wanted to continue his nap, but after coaxing for a while, he's ok n was smiling..

everytime when days pass by, i would think to myself.. wow so fast Jaden is *** month old liao.. it's seem like just yesterday... he has improved slightly,as in when he's about to do something bad, i called out to him, he will look at me n stop the act.. i hope he can become an obedient boy.. though activeness in him cannot b changed..

It's a brand new month.. n will be a v busy month for us.. as it's exam time, marking time, keying results time etc.. n selling of rice dumpling fund raising event is my baby project again this year.. v busy..i hope my energy level can hang me on..no matter how tired i am, i will make it a point to visit n play with my precious prince.. but nonetheless, i hope this month, can pass smoothly loh.
