Jaden is much better today

Yest, Jaden was feeling v unwell.. was so grouchy had breathing difficulties.. But luckily today, he's so much better. Can even run!!!!!!!! AGAIN??

Brought him back to the GP in the early noon. Gave him eat the medicine.. I oso dunno y, if I'm the one feeding him medicine, he won't cry bitterly or wat. I will keep praising him n feed him patiently. If is my MIL who is feeding him medicine, he will always cry or whine.

I went back home for my rest while hubby accompanied Jaden. Both father n son had a good nap. When Jaden woke up, his face was so spirited.. could see tat he is becoming better! His eyes were so energetic, n i koe my son is recovering liao! He himself oso v happy, coz if he is very sick, he has no mood for anything but to whine. He still has little appetite, so MIL didn't cook him any porridge today. His frequency for milk will increase coz din eat porridge or rice.

The vainpot will keep looking into my camera if I were to take it out. He knows I wanted to take picture of him.. n will wait for me to take pics.. hahaha... hope he will b like me, likes to take pics! Today didn't let him go school, hubby said tmr oso let him be at home... well, ok loh... Hope tmr my precious prince can b more active! Yes, now i koe, rather kids to b active rather than quiet quiet... I want to see him happy n active everyday! But cannot hyper ok?? hahahaha!

CNY coming soon!!!!

Wow, v fast loh, next week is CNY liao leh! followed on will b my 29th bday.. this year, my bday lies on the 7th day of CNY, which is 人日, every1's bday!!! haha..

Finally bought some CNY goodies with hubby... Went with my bro n my sis the other day.. we didn't buy alot coz won't b inviting many ppl over lah... hubby said must at least buy a few.. oso bought 1 box for Jaden to bring to school on Monday.

Something to confess: we haven started preparing the ang baos. opppsss... must force hubby to finish preparing by Tues... We have been too lazy liao.. haha.

New Year clothes wise.. i didn't buy too.. nothing much to buy, n also no money... Actually, I really have no much mood to buy new clothes this time... normally i do online shopping, so i dun buy clothes from shopping centres now liao... But mayb due to my size, luckily for me is, purchase online is ok coz most sure can fit in... but recently just dun feel like buying..

Jaden is down with running nose n slight cough... YES, again. I'm mentally prepared tat when he enters CC, sure will b like tat, coz I always hear from my pal tat Princeton is coughing etc. I hope he can recover on time b4 leaving for Kedah loh.. Aiyo, really can't bear to...

The weather nowadays is really bad, no wonder ppl will fall sick n esp little kids. This CNY will be DEFINITELY a different new year for me... n this is the 1st time i have to spend like tat. Actually to me, CNY is no longer that meaningful to me liao, it's just for me to have excuse to eat like nobody's business n gather with my relatives. I hope there will b 1 CNY tat hubby will b willing to spend in Spore with Jaden...

I'm so sorry for disappearing for a week! I'm simply too lazy to switch on the pc n surf the net, dunno y...

But, nonetheless, this week is so great to me!

On Tues 18th Jan, it was another pal of mine, Jasline's wedding! Yes, among our group, she's the last to hold her customary. but who cares? As long as she is happy! I was very happy for her n Michael. After going through so much, Jas finally found her man. I love both her WG n EG. sometimes whether the gown is extravagant or wat doesn't matter, as long as we look nice in it! Didn't bring Jaden along for the banquet. I wasn't in top form n next day he gotta get up early for school.

Lucky we didn't bring him along loh, we stayed til quite late then go home. I slept ard 1am. Gotta remove all the pins on my head n bathe.

Yest 22nd Jan, the Tays n Aws came over to our house for steamboat. My bro came over n join in the fun too. Eat alot n watch soccer together. It was so much fun to have some friends sitting down together n watch soccer. Hubby n I prepared all the food. I prepared the meat n cut n marinate etc. Hubby do the cleaning... Prepare until I felt so tired n needed a short break b4 i continue.

We couldnt finish up all the food coz we bought too much. Had a wonderful time eating, chatting.. next gathering will be either at Aws or Tays side. the Lees went for their mini honeymoon to Macau tats y they didnt join, but nvm, there'll be a next time! I just love my pals so much.

Today, I need to have a good rest to restore my energy level. Cannot stand being awake for too late, I assume I've aged. hahaha! January coming to an end very soon loh, oh my. Time always flies when I'm enjoying. Well, this is life. I wished 2011 could come faster mah, so y am i complaining? heheheehe.. I hope there'll b a gathering soon... Coz i really love my friends!

Inconsiderate neighbours/residents

I really had enough of this kind of nonsense!!!

This set of family, who lives 1 storey below us, is really testing my patience. This I***** family every few days will quarrel, shouting n screaming at the top of their voices. Or they will slam their doors a few times, slamming other things which produced loud noises.

Brought Jaden back for his nap. Did not put the car seat this week, so no choice, I took a bus with him. Well, he enjoyed bus rides. Mayb I should consider not getting a car animore next time.

Jaden is in his 2nd hour of nap now. Hope he can nap til 5+..I was feeling rather tired too, unwell to b more precise. So, i tot i can also rest awhile in the room while he napped in the yaolan. He wanted his yaolan just now, so I prepared for him. but this I***** family started their quarrel again.

This time round is the dad who screamed.. arrrrgggghh, I really hate it! I wonder who I can call to lodge a complaint against. It's really irritating! Made my mood foul, n destroyed my mood to nap. So i had no choice but to get up n blog. Really frustrated. If I have a bomb, I would bomb this family.

1st week of school for Jaden

So fast loh, Jaden has attended his N1 class for a week liao...

So far so good. From the 3rd day onwards, we dun stay inside le... We sit/hide outside, preventing him to see me/hubby.

Principal told us, he did whine/cry, but the duration shorten everyday. Hope he will not whine lah. but i understand, toddlers' mood is different everyday. Whine abit sure have, but after some time it will b ok.

At least to our surprise, Jaden was willing to walk with the classmates, but is held by the teacher/principal lah. Hope soon he will hold a classmate's hand instead. Yest, when they had their usual running time at the void deck, Jaden did not join. He just looked.. but at least there was a time tat he tried to run with them. N there was a short distance that when they were walking, he did not hold on to his milk bottle. It was kept by 1 of his teacher.

Jaden was down with running nose, n was transmitted to me as well. Both of us went to see doctor on Thurs. Brought him away from CC ard 30min b4 his dismissal time. Hope he can b much much better by Monday. His medicine made him tired, I scared might affect his mood.

Mon I need to bring him to school alone again. Hope he can dun whine so much after 2 days break from school (sat & sun)... but overall, both hubby n I think tat his performance for this week is so much better than we expected. I told hubby, give him more time. It's still early.

Jaden's 2nd & 3rd day of school

Yest it was only me who drove Jaden to school... Yest n today he did cry, but not those kind of persistent crying, so i assume i can console myself abit on that.

Yest, he did attempt to sit down n play with the manipulatives @ the 1st part of the session, n lego blocks @ the 2nd part.. But he refused to sit still when he has nothing to play with. The principal told me, he cannot sit still... i was like, hmmmm ya... hahaha!

Yest I did not stay inside for tat long, today morn, it was hubby n I who brought him to school together. Today, we only stayed inside for the 1st 5min, n then we were outside.. Didn't go in at all until near to his going home time.

Kelly & Rod came over a while to take a look at Jaden this morn. I think this little toddler does recognise them... I heard tat when he saw Kelly, he did look at her n whine.. haha! I think he may think tat Aunty Kelly is here to save him! hahahaha...

After a while, hubby n I went over to the kopitiam for breakfast... Sis called me n asked me, y i wasn't at the childcare centre.. then i told her we were eating. She was jogging, so she came over n join us... After bfast, we walked back, n saw them having the morning walk... We couldn't see Jaden, so I thought he may not wana join..

We went to the gate n search for his sandals.. His sandals weren't around, so tat means he joined them for e walk! we followed them behind, w/o Jaden finding out abt us... We saw him!! Yes, he was joining them in the walk! The teacher was holding onto his hands.. He guai guai held her hands n followed the group to walk.. We were surprised to see tat... He was willing to 'walk'!! n was with the line! But something did not leave his hands, his milk bottle.

My sis was relieved tat he was actually willing to join the grp n was willing to hold the teacher's hands.. But when they went back to the centre, I dunno wats wrong with him. He cried so bitterly n loudly. We did not go n find out why, just continued sitting outside n wait. But to b frank, his crying time minimised a bit le..

B4 it was time for him to go home, it was lunch time. I tot he will give in n eat the lunch provided, as he was sitting on the chair with the rest. But, he was eating his own snacks tat I prepared for him. The principal told me tat he did not eat any of the food in school. the teacher tried to feed him but he just cried to protest. So no choice, he's given his own snacks. So since he dun wana eat, n the rest had finished their lunch, I went to bring him home.

The moment he heard me calling him, n he saw me.. He quickly got up n ran towards me. I think this 3hr nursery time shld b good enuf for him.. As, though this is only e 3rd day, but today he automatically got up at 8am le... noon ard 12+ will sleep, ard 3pm wake up.. just 3rd day n somehow he has adjusted the time. I think I will at least put him for this scheme for 6 months before switching to half day. Slowly bah... If everything is ok, I may just put him permanently 3hour le... Will see how lah.

Hope he can adapt soon loh. I give myself a time frame to 1-2months. Pray hard!

Jaden's 1st day of school

After so much of consideration, we finally enrolled Jaden in a childcare centre.. It's a 3hr-playgrp, n his group belong to Nursery1 this year.

Today is his 1st day of school. Morn made him get up at around 7.50am.. Put him on the car seat n drove him to the school. My sis was off today, so she joined us to the childcare centre.

1st part of the session was ok, to my surprise. It was bfast time when we reached. it's from 8.30-11.30am... Managed to get Jaden to sit down on the chair to join the rest for bfast. They were having honey stars this morning.

After which, they went into the area where they watch dvd. Jaden went so near to the TV tat his classmates all scolded him, hahahaha! n a few times til the teacher gotta hold on to him.. He was ok to sit with them on the floor to watch the tv for awhile, but after tat tried to b cheeky by walking around n to the play area.

I thought he shld b fine, so went outside to watch him, together with my sis. But 2nd half of the session, he seemed lost. Kept looking around, sensing he did not see me, he was about to cry. I went back in n of course, tat was when his crying started.

He refused to stop crying.. Cried for quite some time. After awhile, brought them out for a walk, together with 2 other new kids. Jaden refused to walk n hold hands, clung onto me like a koala bear. He calmed down when we went for a walk. But when we came back to the centre, he started to be angry again. But this time round, didn't cry that long liao.

Lunch time, was porridge. He refused to eat. Started to play with the toys tat the teachers gave him, n crying stopped. phew. Coz his a flexi-care, which is 3 hours, so after the lunch provided by school, after eating, he can go home liao. Jaden dun wish to eat bcoz just a while ago he has had his milk n some snacks tat i prepared for him. The principal said, since he dun wana eat, i can actually bring him home liao. Oh well, tats the 1st day of school.

Not too smooth, but yet not too bad. I was still afraid tat he might cry for the whole 3hours. There was a girl who cried for near to 3hours! But pity lah, her parents dropped her liao, n no 1 acc her, as it's her 1st day too! too cruel.. When i saw Jaden sobbing so badly n loudly, I felt sad too. I teared too. But I koe this is a stage tat he need to go through. He is far too spoilt. If dun put him in now, in the future will b worse.

Tmr, I'll be in with him for the whole session again. Principal said, given his behaviour, I may need to sit in for the whole 3 days. Well, all I hope is, he can adapt to the environment n life there soon.
