Busy Tuesday

This is my last day of my break.. Tmr starting work by attending an Art workshop in school... So, today i have to run ALL my necessary errands.

After settling my boys n my mil's breakfast, i went off to fetch my sis as she is off today. She has no prog on so she agreed to acc me to the various places.

We set off at around 12.25pm. 1st to ICA building to collect my new ic. Well, the photo not v nice taken, but at least can show people lah. Bye to my 1st ic which was done in 1994. 

After that, went to have a munch 1st b4 proceeding to the next destination, Andrew Road. We drove further down to Bugis OG that food centre. Wow, it was very crowded today loh. Rice dumpling festival is coming this weekend. There r many stalls of vendors selling rice dumplings. I forgot to go to the Guanyin temple to pray... Arrrrggghhh...

Satisfying our stomachs, we went off to MediaCorp, as i need to collect the Huggies pampers. It was free bcoz Javier appeared in Mother&Baby magazine. Have to collect by next fri, and can only collect during weekdays. I thought it might b a sample pack or small pack with ard 10 pieces or lesser, but who koes it was a regular pack with 44 pieces of pants! Just now took 1 piece and let Javier wear on, lucky can fit. Or else wasted.. I took L size by the way. Haha...

These 2 are my ultimate destinations for today and i managed to clear them. Next, we went to Autobacs. I wana look for steering wheel cover. My Man Utd cover wear off liao n my brother had helped me to remove it. I dun get used to drive using the steering wheel like that. But just couldn't find the 1 i like. Gotta endure til i find a new 1. I oso went to find the mechanic there, to ask him about the sound tat came out from my steering wheel. Previously, C&C quoted me at least 1k for the change of the whole stretch of rubber as it had worn off. Autobacs quoted me $800+, it is still beyond my budget. It won't create any danger to my car or my safety, but the sound is indeed irritating. I have to look ard for lower prices. How i wish to change car!

After driving around to run errands for 4hours+, we were v tired n my bones went stiff. We decided to go JP to have a break! Went to Haagen Daz for ice cream. We love the ice cream! Not noisy too. Great to have a break b4 going to buy dinner for my precious Jaden. It was indeed tiring, as people who drive will koe, driving is very tiring. Have to reach school latest by 9am tmr. Gotta sleep soon, my eyes are closing. Haha.

my 2nd week of break

1st, let me congratulate Javier b4 i start my post. At 9 months old, he has 1 tooth now. And this is the 1st thing tat he is faster than Jaden. Jaden had his 1st tooth after 1 year old. Haha... OK, now let me start my post for today.

 

Today is the mid of my 2nd week break... Besides taking care of my boys, my time would be meeting different groups of ppl!

Tues met my best pal, together with Xiaolin n Kyrine to JP for meals n kopi talk. I brought Javier along too. It was not so crowded tat day, i assume it's bcoz of the sch holidays, many ppl shld b overseas now.. 

Late noon, went to Vivo with my sis n my 2 beloved cousins Arena n Annabel. We went to watch Madagascar 3.. It was really cute n nice. I watched the other 2 parts already. This part is interesting too. Very funny that i actually laughed out so loud during some scenes. Well, it's a good relaxation for me during this break. Let off steam by watching such a nice cartoon show!

Later, i will b meeting my pal for facial at pioneer mall. In the morn, went to Pandan Gardens to meet my bro as he needs to service his car, n use my car to go work. Later when his car is ready, i'll be going down with him again to collect, n oso to check my car. My steering wheel has been making alot of noise, need to check. My car key batt also need to change.

Submitted my new photo to do my new IC too. Just checked with the ICA system, it's still pending. Hope can collect next week b4 i start work. There r still quite a number of stuff waiting to be done n i am simply lazy to do. Haha! Been slacking too much i assume.

When i start work, the busy engine is starting again, n i will b REAL busy compared to the previous 2 terms. Pls try not to ask me out ya. Oh my, dun dare to imagine. All i wish is, 2012 to pass smoothly loh. I dun ask for any credit, i only wish for smooth sailing year. Pls let me enjoy my last few days of peace n relaxation!

Weekend spent at MBS

Patrick uncle got a room for us at MBS, and yesterday noon we went over as check-in time was 3pm... MIL came along as she wanted to go casino n take a look.

We stayed on the 50th floor at tower 3. the scenery was nice! While waiting for the room to be ready, we went to the Skypark 1st. Jaden was excited as usual! Haha... it took him some time to get warm up b4 he dared to go further.. 1st few 15min or so, he only wanted to be at the staircase area to play water... After awhile, we changed Javier into the thermal swimwear.. Well, he enjoyed it v much!

When i put his body into the water, his hands started to pat, as if swimming! He loved it! The weather was good yesterday, not too sunny not too hot... Just right.. 

It was a great experience actually as we never had the chance to go MBS, n i not v interested in going into the casino, all bcoz of the $100 entrance fees. MIL did not win, while uncle patrick won 1k+.... 

The boys actually dozed off at ard 8pm in the hotel room. It's great to bring them out for a weekend.. It was too crowded yest.. Well, IR is like that... If is not Patrick uncle got the room FOC for us, i would not wana go.. Everything is so expensive there, oh my..

Hubby n I actually went into Burberry shop, as i always like their wallets n handbags... But of course i didnt buy lah.. cannot bear to buy.. Mayb end year i can consider.. Haha... opppsss....

We can see that the boys enjoyed themselves... We did not bring enuf pampers, so actually brought them back to in laws' house n then both of us back to MBS ourselves. Stupid hubby brought the diaper bag up to in laws house, where my camera n wallet were inside.. resulted me with no $$$... Sad... So?? He pay lah! Who cares! Haha...

I dun think i would wana go there so often like holiday lah... high expense place leh.. Haha.. but as i said, it is a good experience! Thank you Patrick Uncle!

My dates

I'm so happy, whenever it's holiday time, my friends would start to ask me out... Well, hubby says i'm popular among my friends.. Haha!

Yest, noon lunch met up with my cousin Liling at JP. she came n fetch me as usual. I brought Javier along since he did not wana nap at that timing. Whenever i have my break, she will give me a call n jio me for tea/lunch. Luckily Javier is ok with ppl carrying him, so my cousin had a share of carrying. Jaden was v troublesome when he was younger. Haha. We had a great chat b4 she sent us back n then fetch my gugu from work at Gek Poh. 

Evening, went to Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel to meet Weixin n Kristene. We graduated and entered Pei Hwa the same year, but they left so much earlier than me. Weixin left to work for her hubby, while Kris was transferred out to another school. We had so much to talk about until by the time we realised, it was 10+ and it was time to go. We even forgotten to eat the desserts! Oh my... We were just so engrossed in our chat. Haha..

Today, met my sis at Ion, as she has bought a voucher online for a massage session. Initially she bought it so that she can get Channey to go with her, but it was stated that it's only applicable for Sporeans n PRs. Channey is none, so no choice. So i get to go on her behalf. Haha. Wanted to take MRT there, but after some thoughts, i still decided to drive there. Well, carpark fees was very expensive! $10+...

After the massage, we went for lunch, Jap food. It was great! The massage was good too, that i find it why so fast 1hr liao! Haha.. But it was rather painful, dunno isit the masseuer's pressure too hard, or my muscles are really aching. With the body scrub, we went shower there, felt slightly more refreshed after the massage!

So now, we are home with the boys, and after indulgence, it's time for me to work as a mother again! Next thurs having a facial apptment @ Pioneer Mall, together with my pal Kelly. It has been ages ever since i went for my facial, n it's really time for me to relax, after working so hard n @ the same time taking care of my boys n family. House chores i still need to do as usual... No much break for me unless i have apptment with my frds, or else my 24hours will be for my family n doing housechores.

Time always passes v fast esp when we are on leave. Well, i always enjoy my privacy time. No matter who i am, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a wife, or a mother, my privacy is still v impt. I need space for myself too. And i want ppl to respect that.

Water time at Bukit Batok CSC

My sis signed up and became a member of CSC at Bukit Batok.. She always said wanted to bring Jaden to the pool, until today we finally made our trip there...

Morn, we reached CSC at ard 10, Jaden was still v nervous n scared. Refused to go into the pool big area. Stood outside n kept walking backwards, wanting me to leave. Of course i am not leaving. I carried him, n despite him screaming n shouting, we went in.

After awhile, he cooled down n wanted to play. We went to the baby pool side. Changed him and there he went to play with water. My sis acc him while i went to the changing room to change into swimwear.

He isn't adventurous enough. But at least after a period of warming up time, he is more willing to play. Dunno what went into him that bathing became a chore. A screaming n loud cries when it comes to bathing.

Stayed there for 1.5 hours, n we had to leave as my sis had an apptment with her frd at city area. Dropped her home and then i drove to Central Park Mac drive thru to buy our lunch.

Jaden refused to bath, n he will scream at the top of his voice cum crying. I tried to assure him that it's all ok, but a few talkings dun help, so end up he kenna beating from me again. Yest, i hit his thighs til red markings on the thigh. Today, i hit hardly at his buttocks, til red too. No sparing! Very irritating sounds. He has to be punished. Dunno wat went wrong. 

He koes i am angry. Though compared to b4, he is considered sensible than that, but he still needed firm discipline. I have been v tolerant towards him already, but certain principles wise, i would not sway n dislike it to the max when he cross the grounds.

Thank god for the good weather, or else today cannot go. Next week, my sis n I may go there on our own to get a swim n for jacuzzi. It's been a long time ever since i swim, and i had accumulated alot of unnecessary fats. All thanks to my poor determination n over-confidence. Thought given my petite size, i would slim down fast but the fact proved me wrong. Wats worse is, i refused to do anything abt it but to grumble. Serves me right. Haha.

I must try to bring Jaden to Fidgets again b4 my busy term starts. There's still work pending me to start on, the sch laptop is in my car boot, n i still refused to bring it up to my house. Holiday?? dun think so... It's just tat it's a period of time that i need not go sch, but work still must do, AT HOME. walao... sianzzz to the max.. But at least i can get to see my boys for longer hours. It's a good experience at CSC, and today is quiet with no crowd. Very good! Shall plan another trip here, and it's Javier's turn to come by then!

My loots from the Expo

Today, my mum and I, together with Javier, went to Expo Electrical fair... I wanted to take a look at the desktop pc, netbook, or tablet pc, camera...

Jaden n hubby were at home... Wow, the crowd was scary... But luckily we found a carpark lot quite fast, we acted fast too.

There was motherhood fair too, but we did not go, as I'm afraid if i step in, i would buy many things. So to prevent myself from buying, i chose not to enter... Wise choice i assume! Haha...

We walked around in the electrical fair, it was indeed noisy. We stopped at 1 of the booth, where there was a promoter trying to sell a bundle deal of a Fujifilm camera and a netbook. We stopped to listen to wat he can offer.

Well, i was rather interested in his presentation, so i carried Javier, n we went forward. After some dealings, i told my mum i wana get from this promoter. But there is a condition, he will only give out some vouchers. If u manage to snatch 1, u can get the bundle deal of these 2 items. The promoter saw me showing interest, and yet i am carrying a baby, so he actually asked me to step behind, n agreed to reserve 1 set for me, while the rest need to 'fight' for it.

My mum helped me to snatch 1 voucher, n indeed she succeeded. We quickly went to the counter n choose the colour of the camera. There were only 2 colours left, pink n silver. I chose pink. They oso threw in an extra battery and camera casing, as usual. But i really find it affordable, as we dun need a branded pc or netbook, as we always use it to surf net or play games. After which, we walked around in the fair to look at other electrical stuff, but did not buy any.

We had a drink at the foodcourt b4 leaving. I do not need any other stuff, so i wasn't interested to listen to other deals. Hubby was glad with my buys. Haha... Tomorrow is the last day of the fair. My brother wanted to go in the morn bcoz he wanted to get a new tv, n 1 of the deal is $99... Hope he can get it, n of course he must go early to book a place as the queue will sure b v v long!
