Pre-celebration of Le Xuan's 1st birthday 11-09-15

Today is the polling day, so is PH for us. Done our vote in e morn, n afternoon went to my bro's side for Xuan's birthday party!

Le Xuan's birthday is next week, but they decided to hold it earlier as her bday lies on a weekday.

They held the party at the shelter near their block. Well, e haz

e was really bad yest, n today suddenly it was great! Xuan's birthday theme is Carebears! 

They ordered buffet n the cake from Prima. We reached ard 1.30pm, n stayed throughout til near to 5pm. Both Js were obedient surprisingly!!! Normally Jaden will fuss n not wanting to take photo etc. Jav sometimes fuss too. But today, they were great! Thank u boys!

Hubby brought Jaden to the playgrd a few times as he couldnt stay still at all, as usual. Jav was enjoying playing with my cousin Annabel. N he was happy! When the party ended, we needed to help keep things, Jav even helped to move heavy things together with my dad.


We had a great time today, n Xuan was happy too, though in e beginning she did fuss as she was tired. But when she got up, she was ok. Jav skipped nap as he was having fun. Jaden has stopped nap for a long time.

I went to purchase a voucher online to customise a storybook for Xuan. Hopefully she can cultivate a good habit for reading, n a red pkt for her.

It was a short n yet happy occasion for our precious princess in the family. She is well loved by every1. She has many presents today, n hope she enjoyed herself too! Le Xuan, may u continue to grow up happily under the uncondition love & care from your parents n from all of us. We all love u so much. Grow up to be a good & smart girl. U r always e most precious princess in the family!

Javier turns 4!

I didnt want my kids to grow up that fast, but time doesnt stop for ani1. Javier turned 4 this year.

I applied leave, so that i can spend some private time with him. He poor thing, never go aniwhere b4 like Jaden. Tats y i brought him to e zoo

last yr when he was 3. So, this year i decided to bring him to Bird Park.

Haze was bad recently, but thank God for everything. On e day itself on 8th, weather was good. I told him e day b4 his bday that i will bring him to the Bird Park, n he said ok. Well, he did enjoy the trip i should say.

We watched 2 shows, n he was happy. It's like an eye-opener to him. We only spent a few hrs there, mainly bcoz i cannot stand e heat!

Evening, hubby bought a cake as instructed. It's his fav Thomas the Train. He doesnt eat cake, neither does Jaden. We had a simple celebration at home for him. I felt tired celebrating birthdays with tonnes of friends & relatives. Too tiring.

Javier is a fierce boy to his brother. I always hope he can be more loving, though sometimes they do love each other alot. Jav's skin condition improved alot after we brought him to see the chinese med doc recommended by my sec sch frd. It really helps though it was exp.

Seeing them laugh n happy is my happiness. All i wish is they r healthy & happy. Haze is bad, n i kept praying that they dun fall sick, n i have to b careful too as my health is poor. Pls be a more sensible boy ok? Your name represents bright... so i hope your life is bright n good. Happy blessed birthday my little boy! We love u always!

Change of mobile model

I always change my mobile model within 24 months. This is the 1st time i will ever shoot after 24 months.

I was always thinking which to change.. change this or tat.. until i decided to change to Note 5.

Initially was abit tempted to change to S6, but still i find it small for my big palm. Yesterday was my 10yr of getting my car license... so decided to reward myself by buying the Note5.

Besides that, i oso bought the original Samsung powerbank. I had 1 actually, but since i do not have an external batt for this model, i would need 1 more powerbank to standby then. I cannot get used to hp dying without extra backup. Somemore the powerbank is light blue in colour, very nice!

I have to start to get used to Note... As my previous is S4. I havent gotten e casing yet, so need to quickly get 1... Hope this phone serves me well loh... I got 64GB since cannot put sd card, haha. 

Happy that i managed to change hp again! 

Javier was down with HFMD

Tue night, when Javier was asleep, i suddenly realised something was not v right. I saw many red popped up spots on his soles, n then i tried to look at his mouth, n spotted 3 ulcers on e lips. What worried me was HFMD.

Then i tried to recall if there's any unusual behaviour for the past few days. Yes indeed, his appetite was bad, n a few times he cannot finish his milk.

Decided to bring him see doc, and as what i had guessed, he has kenna HFMD. Faintz. i had to take leave and take care of him. He needed to b isolated from Jaden.

Though with HFMD, he was still active. His appetite became better on friday evening when he actually requested for rice. he ate v little for e past few days, bcoz his throat area oso has a few ulcers. tat explained y he couldnt finish his pancakes, scrambled eggs & milk for those days. Poor boy.

I started to have an ulcer on the tongue area, n 1 on the gum. i was observing myself closely at the same time. By friday night, Javier could finish all his milk n eat quite alot of rice. I guessed his road to recovery is approaching.

Sunday evening, brought him to doc again, n YES! he has recovered fully! Doc said his case is mild n he indeed recovered v fast. Doc helped me checked too, and i am not infected. Phew.

Javier reported back to CC yesterday, n i was also back to work too. exhausted all my CC leave n FCL for 2015 liao. Pray hard nothing bad will happen for the rest of the year... Pray hard!

Sis left for Ireland

My sis got a job back in Dublin, n left on Wed 15July.

I was sad of course, but for her happiness, she has to go. this is e fact tat we have to accept n wish her for..

it wasnt easy for any1 to see this situation, after all we r all here in spore, n she needs to go so far to pursue her happiness.

I am happy for her tat she is so near to receive her happiness. she wont b happy if she continues to stay here. both my bro n I are married, n now it should be her turn to find hers. she has found, n now she is going after it.

we will still meet though it will b difficult... whenever i think of her, i would feel empty, bcoz i got used to her going Amore with me, going massage with me. from now on, i have to go all on my own. kind of lonely.

without us realising, she has been back for 5 yrs... we had been too comfortable tat we didnt realise about the time that she has been back here in spore. it is not easy to maintain a long distance r/ship, n it was great to see that they have been maintaining it well.

I know happiness is now approaching her, n i feel really happy for my sis. i need some time to adjust w/o her by my side. i was crying badly but i dun want her to see that. it was tough for me.

I wish her happiness n i koe she will be. love u a lot, my dear sis.. hope to see u soon in Ireland.

I love my prince charming

Many ppl who koe me well enuf should know who my prince charming is... I love him for so many years, n til now i still love him... My idol Julian Cheung Chi Lam

I watched the recent variety show which he participated in, together with his wife Anita Yuen, n 2 other couples on 一路上有你.....




I loved him, he is just too cute n himself.. despite being a 43 year old man, a husband, a father, he is still rather childish... not just his looks... He didnt really changed much after many years.

This show is funny, especially most of the captions... This grp of ppl who created the show is smart i should say.

They recorded this series in Korea. N could see how each couple communicated n loved each other. Chilam & Anita had been together for 20 over years, n i really think it is not easy.

I started liking Chilam when i watched him starring Yang Guo... he always have those roles which is devoted man n always get hurt kind... besides his acting, i super love his big round eyes! n of course his height. It is just so perfect. If i can ever see him in person n take a picture with him, i think i may laugh til cannot sleep. Haha.

Though i dislike his hairdo for 冲上云霄, but his big round eyes make u just cannot take your eyes off him.n of course his dimples too. Oh my, he is just so attractive isnt he?

He may not be the best sweet tongue man in the earth. He may not be those 稳重型.... But he is indeed a HK man who many women admire. I really look forward to him taking up more TV series. Miss his shows actually... Haha.. I still prefer to watch him as a policeman, or a devoted man.

Exercising

Last weekend we watched the Sea Games Netball match between Spore & Malaysia... We were v proud to say the girls had played well n won themselves a gold medal! Congrats!

At the same time, we felt proud to be once a netball player. There are 7 positions in a team...
Goalkeeper (GK); Goal Defence (GD); Wing Attack (WA); Wing Defence (WD); Goal Attack (GA); Centre (C); Goal Shooter (GS).

Game rules, u have to go online n read on your own, haha. Mainly my position is GS, main shooter for the team. Occasionally i do play C too. My sis is mainly playing GA, shooter too.

I missed my netball days, but i dun miss the time that i had to be under the sun. Haha!

Yesterday, even my eyes were infected & inflammation, i wore my specs n joined my sis to go for a practice, just the 2 of us. We had fun n of course my shooting skills had deteriorated.. But we had a good sweat n exercise. I enjoyed playing netball still, really!

It's not easy to find a good kaki to exercise n play sports together. I might be a bit ego, in the sense that i do not like to play a sport with someone who is v green. i like to play with mature players. that will have the kick.

We will try to go for more practice on our own. I enjoyed spending time with my sis a lot, and very soon she will b leaving to move back to Ireland. I hope to play more games with her before she moves back. 

Port Dickson Trip 2D1N: 31 May-1 June 2015

This is our 2nd trip in a team of 4.... We spent our long weekend for Vesak Day in Port Dickson.

Left on 31 May and came back on 1 June. A short trip of 2D1N. We met as early as 8am at Keypoint, and set off frm there. Reached Port Dickson ard late noon.

It was a pleasant trip i should say. Relaxing, really. Away frm the city... 

We had thai massage outside from the chalet. Had a driver to fetch us to n fro. Can u imagine Thai massage at RM$29/hr. It's so cheap! my room mate for this trip is Shiyi, and she is a person with hearing impairment. But she is such a great friend cum travel mate! Despite of her disability to hear, but wears hearing aid, but she is very independent & can travel alone backpack! Salute!

When we reached & settled down, the girls went for banana boat ride as i was not feeling quite well. Water sports like kayak n jet ski are also available. There r 3 pools, sauna too. Really a good place to relax. There is a kids play room as well. Karaoke room too but we didnt have the extra time to try out that facility.

I like our room... too big to b true, really! If self drive there, can just book 1 chalet room which can accommodate 6 people! a small balcony which has good view. really smoothing! Restroom has bath area, bath tub, big place for washing up with 2 basins... 

None of us had been there b4, so we just try out lah as we couldnt decide on any place tat time, so it was quite a rush decision to go for this trip.

Short trip compared to our maiden trip to Bandung. Next plan is going elsewhere, n may plan to jio some other colleagues along. Venue TBC, date most prob will be next year. I enjoyed thai massage alot, n going to Bangkok soon 2 weeks later, which makes me so excited!

Shall start planning early for our 3rd trip together. Hope we can spend more days at the next venue!

Company Team Bonding 16-05-15

Initially, the company team bonding was scheduled in March, but was postponed due to the passing of Mr LKY. So, after 1.5months of postponement, the event was held last Sat at ECP.

It was really a hot sunny day to start off a Saturday. The weather blessed us but i find it far too sunny.

We were divided into 8 groups.. n I am the captain for Grp1. The members we had are all over different teams & divisions. I had poor knowledge & interest for Lego, so likewise, sandcastle isn't my forte too.

I do not like to visit a beach, n play with sand... but we were supposed to build sandcastle, n i had difficulties, as i am lousy at 3D.. Haha...

After some discussions, we had an idea in mind. All worked together as a team, regardless of ranks, depts, divisions... this is the purpose of the event. Even CEO, GD, D, DD.. all must join in... It was fun...

There wasn't any winner nor loser. My team got the most professional team award. Bcoz the planning committee mentioned we were so serious in discussing n had shown professionalism. Tats funny by e way. All grps get different sorts of 'presents' n awards.... All thanks to the witty Victor... Haha...

It was a great chance for every1 to b together and work together as a team. I am sure every1 had fun.. Lucky, thanks to the sunblock spray i bought online previously, which was shipped from Korea. It was good, n surprisingly, in the past if i go such event, i will sure b so tanned like a Malay, but mayb due to this spray, i did turn a bit tan, but not so much! But............. i lost it when e event ended. Never mind! i managed to find it again online n had ordered again!

We are entitled for 1 day off... N i shall start looking at my calendar to see which day i wana take. This month is too busy for me, no way. Shall make myself b diligent again to update my blog. 

Random thoughts

I dunno what went wrong these few days, we r facing Javier's refusal to go school matter again...

He can scream & cry again this time round. Scream for me n ask me to come back.. Regardless how teacher tried to coax him, he refused to budge in.

This morn drama is affecting me alot. It affected my mood, n affected my timing to go work. It made me late for work quite a number of times, from 20-30min late.

This is not going to work leh. I dun like such drama. After school, he was happy n can even say school is so much fun. n said in chinese that he cannot cry. But when morn comes, the same drama comes back.

This is worse than the 1st time when he went in. Now he really screams, esp screams for me. Haiz, my heart cannot take it. But what can i do? I am in a dilemma now. N it is driving me nuts.

So sorry

I am so sorry for disappearing for 1month+...

I was very busy with work, n too tired & lazy to on my laptop at home. Haha... Just a quick update of wat i have been doing for the past 1 month.

I will be transferring to another department, wef 1Apr.. It's still under E&E umbrella but diff dept with diff job scopes. Now currently helping out at s2w (school-to-work) prog at NUH where e interns are doing work for 9months. this will be my new dept. In e newspapers, it's call transition to work. Where we help to find employment and provide job support for people with special needs after they graduate from their respective SPED schools. I feel v proud to be able to join this team. It will be v hectic but i am sure the sense of achievement will be great n satisfying. But of course, this wasn't my choice of transfer, but management think that i am more suitable here, so here i am.

We will b moving office to another block early next month. I have yet to pack my stuff. Now busy with s2w, and my current job scopes in training dept. No replacement yet so i am v tired.

i think i am in need to go overseas for a breather soon. Haha... Many things change in these few mths. I need more encouragement n support. I am sure i can do it... i will need to try my best. Give me your blessings. Thanks!

My 33rd Birthday

My 33rd birthday was a bit different from my previous ones... Hubby brought me to Malacca for a 2d1n trip. We set off on sun morn, n came back on my bday..

The day b4 we went for Zoo Run, so the next day set off was abit tiring for us. Luckily when we reached Hatten Hotel, we had a room liao, so no need waste time to wait for hotel room. It was really great!

We had good food, n i went for Thai massage on my own as hubby is not keen at all. It was shiok! cracked my bones loh. I love thai massage.


It was a fast trip, not enuf time to shop n eat, really. Next time must go 3d2n lah. Haha. Bought some stuff frm there too.

When we reached Spore in e evening, we went for Jap food, after which he actually went to buy a blue rose for me. N a small cake for me.

To me, simple is good. I never expected anything big frm him. As long as he has the heart, i would be more than happy. For my birthdays spent with him, i find that this is the time tat i felt this way. 

I don't need a very exp celebration frm him. all i need is his 用心.... finally this time i can feel that. But hopefully he can always pay more attention to my needs.

N of course, i received many wishes from family, relatives, friends, colleagues etc. Felt touched. They went through different paths to get the wishes over to me. Appreciate that alot. Really. 

Though no big, no luxury celebration, but i am equally happy. It's you who matters.

1st Run of 2015

The run  that i have been looking forward to was finally held yesterday! The 6km Zoo Run!

This was my 2nd run in my life, 1st run for 2015. We were excited! My sis, my bro, my sil n hubby signed up for that. It was an evening run. Same 6km as e run i had last yr Jurong Lake Run.

i really have no time to train. But luckily, i think my timing was much better than last run. Shall wait til e timing check is ready. My bro came back 1st among e 5 of us, followed by my sis, then me. N lastly hubby n Yinghui ran in together. All came in before 1hr.

we had fun n it was a great feeling. We r going to look for other runs n hope to participate together again. There is other runs this mth in Feb, but i dun wish to sign up as it's too near to each other.

soon i'm leaving home, tats y can blog early before i step out of e house. Will b travelling to Malacca in a while's time, together with hubby. It's to celebrate my birthday. He brings me there bcoz i have yet to go Malacca b4. It's a birthday trip, but it's just a 2d1n trip, sl i'll b back tmr night. Update on this when i'm back ya.

it's indeed tiring to travel early in e morn when we had e run e day b4, but we were all happy. Haha! Shall look forward to our next run together soon!

JB trip 31-01-15

My 1st trip out of Singapore was to JB with my colleagues. It was really a fun adventure i should say. Actually there was a bigger grp of ppl who joined, but due to some respective reasons, in e end left 5 of us whom included Michael.

though there was a jam on e way to e customs, but we still had fun in e end. we went for massage too. It was great! Must go again.

it was a 1 day trip, n we target to go again. But hope to go for a 2d1n lah. Had eaten quite a lot of food. Luckily the traffic was smooth n fast when we came back. I am v packed with work recently, so really no extra time n energy to post. Haha...

looking forward to our next JB trip where we can go in a bigger grp, n i'm sure it'll b so much fun!

Many things to achieve for 2015

2015 will be a busy year for me.. esp when it comes to work, i dunno if there is any progression in my work. but i will still be looking ard for better opportunities.

I'm aiming to learn sign language together with a grp of my colleagues, n lesson shld start in feb/mar... 

the 1st to come is the zumba.. lesson starting on 28th Jan, every wed.. i look forward to learn this together with my colleagues too.

Next, is ukelele.. the instrument finally came on Friday! so happy! i put delivery add at my mum's place, so when she received it, she texted me. i am going to learn that n hope i can learn to play a complete song!

these following activities are only for the 1st quarter of 2015. for the next quarter no plans yet as nothing is firmed up or confirmed. so i can only take a step at a time to see how things go. No road is smooth, it all depends on how we are going to cross it. Good luck to me, n hope i can learn more useful stuff!

TV Series - Wei Zi Fu

I spent a few mths to finish this series! oh my, not bcoz it is very long but bcoz i am busy at work, n everytime when i got home i am just too tired to do anything.

Finally, i completed this series from watching it from my S4. I actually did some reading on this too. This person was real n history. The characters inside were in e history details too. The other wonderful reason why this series caught my attention was 1 of my idol was inside too! Raymond!

Happy 2015!

This is e 1st wkend of 2015! n hubby is out of town. he went to Malacca with his colleagues yesterday. shld b back tmr morning.

Our 7th wedding anniversary just went passed last week. no flowers, no nothing. But i am v packed with activities to end 2014.

I met up with my ex peihwa colleagues. We had a great talk of 10 people. It was fun to meet up with them. i missed all of them loh. i missed the time when we were facing stress n fighting war everyday. fight with markings, scoldings etc.

After all, i spent 8years there. neither too long nor too short. I dunno if i will spend another 8yrs or more in another company. hope so bah. it's not a gd feeling to leave them. but i dun regret. i spent my next 11mth at home with my boys while teaching free lance. after which then i joined SG Enable, til now 6 months.

i believe frdship dun build up n firmed in a short time. i have firm frdship with many ppl, n i koe they accept me of who i am. I am v wilful but my ex colleagues all accepted me. i love them. Really.

On my wedding anniversary, i went out with my current colleagues, n met up with 1 ex colleague in SGE. We had exp food, laughed loudly n talked anything under e sun, or i shld say gossip. Haha!

I made many friends in my life, n i count myself lucky to have many wonderful frds around me. 

Counting down to 2015, i have my family with me. Jaden went to sleep as early as 10.30pm that night. N i can enjoy watching the countdown party from Taiwan while applying my facial mask. Lazy n relax new year eve. But i enjoyed it.

It's going to b a challenging 2015. i am waiting to receive gd news so that i can face n take up new challenges for this year. i hope it can be a successful one. that's my greatest wish for now to b frank. hopefully is gd news so that i can share here when it is announced.

The next one that i will be looking forward to in 2015 is the Zoo Run in Feb. these 2 matters is for the 1st part of the year of wishes that i am looking forward to this year. the rest gotta wait til these 2 r over.

Nonetheless, no matter if you like me or dislike me, i oso wish tat 2015 will b a better-er year for you guys. Hope every1 is happy n safe. Please do not let more disasters to attack the earth. We just want to live a happier life. Happy 2015 folks!
