Free makeover?

My bro called me yesterday to find out if i'm free to go to a place with him today morn at 10am... he claimed that he received a call that he has won a free makeover session thru the Great S'pore Sale... though he forgotten if he did take part in the lucky draw, but he think mayb he can go down to find out what is it all about... if it's a pram, then we'll just walk away... so i promised him to go down with him...
i shall not spell out the studio's name.... so this morn, we went down w/out having breakfast... the person who called my bro said that it'll b done in 1.5hours' time... we r required to bring our 2 favourite sets of clothes to change... ???
there were quite a number of ppl there, queueing to get make-up n change, to prepare for photoshoot... in the package he has won, can take up to 40 photos, but only allowed to choose 2, n they will burn it into a CD-rom for him... they requested my bro to bring a working adult to go down with him.. Angeline wasn't free, so there i was.... being available...
shan't go into details on the photo shooting.. otherwise the whole blog will b too long... we changed into their Korean wear provided.... bcoz the casual wear we took, the memory card is spoilt, so to prevent changing back, we chose to take photos with the Korean wear...
After the whole photoshoot, as expected, they tried to promote us to buy their products n sign up for their package. i told my bro to do the talking... after much persuasion, we insisted not to purchase anything from them.. coz they said my bro won the package, so my bro already told me that if they want us to pay, he definitely won't compromise to pay a single cent...
They persuaded us for quite some time.. we remained firm, so they got infuriated, the expressions n reactions were so obvious.... actually the whole thing can b done b4 12, but we ended up leaving at 1.30pm... caused me to get a fine coz of insufficent displaying of carpark coupon. N out of no choice, they let us choose only 2 pictures.
We did take around 40 shots, solo n pairs.. so we decided to take 2 pics with us in it... we need more time to think it over to sign the package, but their intention was like, we had to take it NOW or NEVER... i wanted them to give me a namecard, so that after careful consideration n calculation, if i really wanted to take up, i'll contact them.. but when they knew that we were persistent in our stand, they showed attitude.. then i was thinking, then never mind loh...
Well, there's nothing as a free lunch in this world, esp makeover session... but my bro n I had some fun out of there.. making so many poses n shots.. quite shiok... but in the end, we chose 2 photos with decent looks...
