Oh well, last month we celebrated our 10th anniversary being together, n yesterday was our 6th wedding anniversary. Time flies...
I never expected we would come s
o far actually. In these 10 years, we had ups n downs, we had disagreements on our views on everything, I ever thought of giving up this relationship b4, but yet we still managed to salvage n come to this far. I hope we can always b together.
We went for dinner after his work, to Southwest Tavern, where we had steak n lamb chops. The food not bad, n is a good place for chilling. I'm going to bring my friends there 1 day.
All thanks to my bad running nose. I couldn't taste out e good food at all. Xianzzzz... Mayb partly bcoz in e late noon time, I had high tea with my boss n colleagues at Carousel...
It was a simple dinner n excuse to have good food. Haha... The weather was so cold yesterday.
Hubby actually sms-ed me in e morn to wish me happy anniversary 1st. I must have been too tired that I replied later. No matter wat, we went through some hiccups, but I sincerely hope he has a love me heart, that will keep us going n going.

Oh well, I rarely go overseas now, passport renewal is every 5yr.. wat a waste of page.. Haha...
Change of passport, e only thing tat made me happy was, can change to a nicer pic.. Hehe... Made an apptment to go JP post office to collect instead of travelling down to ICA. Of course I chose to collect at JP lah, nearer to my house mah... Just now late noon went to collect liao!
Collection at post office has a fee to pay, $10. Rather to pay than to go all e way down. Was happy to receive my new passport. Will start e 1st use on my birthday! Yipppeee!
My sis organises xmas party again, but this year's members have changed.. Haha...
Without my bro n his wife, this year we decided to get our 4th uncle n 5th uncle families to join in, n together with my popo n my PILs... My sis' 2 friends from HK oso joined in e fun.
My sis ordered turkey, roasted lamb, sausages plate, pizzas. 4th uncle n aunt bought drinks. 5th uncle n family bought log cake. my side we bought a box of dunkin donuts for each household. Each of us oso bought a gift for gift exchange.
It was a small mini party. Jaden was fussing as usual. Javier in e beginning refused to join in but to stick to hubby, but after warming up, he was ok.
We had a quick photo taking session, esp with my sis' polaroid. Have yet to open e presents yet, bcoz there r simply too many to carry back. Tmr need to go to my parents' hse again to take.
We had to leave early bcoz Jaden was making lots of noise. Haiz... but at least we had e time to eat n take some pictures.
There r many presents to open tomorrow... haha.. n I wondered wat would we receive. I bought a present for each of my family member, n oso my PILs. Hope they will like it loh, it is just a small gesture.
This is my 1st poorest Xmas, bcoz of my job. No extra $$ to buy exp presents anymore. Haha. But I was equally happy n think is rather worth it.. Bcoz I have more time for my sons... Nothing is balanced n fair. We have to give n take. I may need to work harder next yr, haha... It's going to b Christmas in ard half an hr time, I wish every1 a merry xmas n hope all of u will b blessed with gd health n happiness surrounding u!
Last Fri 20th was e last enrichment lesson for Javier, as it's e last lesson of the term for 2013.
Javier has learnt to listen to stories while sitting down, n respond to flashcards...
He enjoyed his lesson every Fri, though he did miss out a few bcoz of him being sick...
I thank my boss very much for asking him to join in e lesson, as I need not pay any fees, n yet he can have e flashcards every week.
Though Javier has not really talking in sentences, coz his baby language is very strong, he can blabber lots of sentences but is all baby talk.. But he understands what we r talking.. He is still rather shy of course, but not as bad as b4...
He received a 'snowman' play doh last Fri.. N it was nicely done by Snow n boss. It was a pleasant experience for Javier to attend lesson. He will not join his frds for lesson in 2014, bcoz e timing clash with my teaching timing too. I know he likes having lesson there, though there r times that he flared up n cried in e school. When he sees Snow n boss, he would smile n sometimes saying them too.
Thanks for everything. I'm sure Javier will miss you ppl in FLS...
Christmas is coming... well, this year no celebration... my sis is trying to organise a private family mini party at my parents' house... y would we say is mini? my bro n SIL went for their honeymoon to Europe since yesterday. Touch down at hong kong for transit then to London. They will be going for quite a number of weeks, will only get to see them in 2014!
So who's left? my parents, my sis, our dog, me n my family! Haha...
My sis bought presents for her nephews, my bro n SIL put the xmas presents under e xmas tree b4 they left for their trip.
I am always v glad to have my wonderful maiden family, though we do have disagreements at times.
My sis will have her day offs soon, til xmas day. So, most prob we will b having a mini makan time cum receiving presents on xmas eve. Will wait for her confirmation.
I'm so envious of my bro... go Europe leh. when is my turn? Haiz. Haha. Hope to have e chance to go when I am still alive loh, wat else..
After xmas will b our wedding anniversary. 6th year of marriage. So fast. Neither too long nor too short. though this is oso e 10th yr of us being together, but somehow it seem to be longer than that.
Every year, I dun wish for anything special, but to wish for good health n happiness. But this time round, I wana have a new wish adding in. Career. Hope I can have a better career ahead after e 1st quarter of 2014.
Oh well, it's really December already, n today marked e end of 1st week of Dec....
I've been a PTWM cum housewife (part time too) for almost half of e year liao loh.. Really cannot believe tat time flies tat fast.
I felt so bad actually. I told myself there r 2 things tat I need to settle b4 December comes, but who knows, til now these 2 matters had not been fulfilled.
1, I wanted to cut my hair short after my brother's wedding... N now he has been married for 1 whole month, n my hair is still this length. Hubby actually preferred me having long hair after all, though he said e last decision lies in me.
2, I wanted to sell off my car b4 Dec, but now I am still driving it. Though now it doesn't give me problems, but somehow I find it more convenient for me to have it, especially when I need to tag both of my sons along by my side. N going to work is more convenient as I need to travel to diff locations.
I thought I can fulfill these 2 matters, but..... Well.....
Still, I actually dun really fancy my Rio. Kept finding excuses wanting to sell off. Wanted to change but v broke now. Haha. Need to send it for inspection next mth, haiz.... Waste my $$ again....
I love December, bcoz it's a cool season n it oso means tat our wedding anniversary is approaching soon too. I know there's nothing great abt anniversary, but looking forward to it oso will make me happy somehow. I'm oso waiting for a piece of news this month, hope I can receive good news loh, haha!
Wow, time really flies... yesterday 27th November, marked our 10th years together as a couple. To b frank, I never expected us to go so far.
It's not easy to be together, n of course as long as both give in effort in maintaining, to b loyal to each other, nothing is impossible.
We had dinner together yest after work, n ate teppanyaki. It has been years ever since hubby ate teppanyaki. In e morn, he sent me a sms wishing us 10 years anniversary. And when we met up at JP in e evening, he bought a blue rose for me.
Though it was a simple dinner with no luxurious gift or exaggerating celebration, but I was equally contented bcoz as long as we r eating together, other stuff are just superficial n secondary.
In these 10 years, we had ups n downs of course. No smooth path for us. I am not giving up, n hope he doesn't too. Everything doesn't come easy for us. Though there r times that I got v angry n disappointed in him, but I believe in a marriage, we must try our best to maintain it, to keep it, n not to say separate.
How many more years of anniversary can we count together? I dunno but I do look forward to counting it every year when it comes. Til e day we part during death I hope.
He may not be e high earning man, he may not be a really smart clever man, he may not be a romantic man, but neither am I a clever woman, neither am I a good tempered person. Tats y we need e other half to complete e parts that we r lacking of. Though I am 'stronger', but there r times I need him to console n comfort me.
I ask for nothing a lot. I ask for nothing great. I just want a complete family. Tats all. Happy 10 years anniversary dear hubby.

2013 has not ended yet, n wats just passed was Jaden's 5th birthday, n next coming up to be looking forward to should be our anniversary in a few days time.. But we had not been celebrating that ever since we got married.. Hmmmm...
Next, shld b Xmas! But still, we have no plans to celebrate too, unless my sis organises. But normally we dun celebrate Xmas lah. Only celebrated this when we were still not married, we would travel overseas, but ever since has kids, we dun go overseas for xmas anymore...
I have no specific plans for 2014 yet, especially my work. Still dilly dally here n there, haha! But something to b looking forward to will be..............
My birthday!
Yipppppeeee.... though there r still many events to look forward to b4 my birthday, but my birthday event has been planned for! All I hope is, we would fulfil e event n go when my birthday comes! Wah, think liao oso feel so happy. Hahahahaha.... Shall not say so much abt this 1st until everything is fixed. =)
Yes, today is Jaden's 5th birthday! N the celebration was held at our humble house, with steamboat for dinner, all ingredients prepared by me!
I bought a Tom & Jerry cake, a regular size one. We always cannot finish e cake anyway. Haha...
We had a great n full dinner, n of course with quite a number of food left...
My PILs, my parents, my siblings n SIL were around to share e joy. My dad worked late so he could only reach ard 8+...
Somehow in e beginning, Jaden was in a good mood... But towards e cake cutting part, he started to fuss n refused to take photo together. So sad.
We made him help to bring cake to every1, n he needs more practise. Haha!!!
Javier was v tired, bcoz he had a long day in e cc, knocked out at 9.30pm. Jaden somehow still energetic.
Jaden's health has always been our concern, coz he is not really that fit, n mainly bcoz he is a fussy eater. All I pray is, Jaden can always b healthy, n hope he can b more independent in taking care of himself.
Happy 5th birthday my dear prince Jaden. U must koe that all of us love u dearly, treating u as a jewel, a jem. Pls stay cheerful always! Love u!
we bought e buffet voucher online last week n made a dinner apptment today for our regular meetup!
This time round, Ting brought her daughter along as she wanted to tag along.
We always find time n chance to meet up for a meal. Next time shall b steamboat!
We can always update one another n talk anything under e sun. It's just so fun to meet up n talk, n chat! that's e most impt thing for our meetup.
Our next meetup will b next mth... night's out time for us to let our hair down to forget we r our men's wives! Haha.. But they r asking me out for swimming session leh. I dun like to b tan, so daytime go swim is impossible lah. It'll b very hard for me to get fairer as I am tan by nature.
Although we dun work together in e same workplace again, n no chance to eat together in e staff lounge, but we always try to meet up. Even if we dun meet, we have our own watsapp chat grp, sometimes we chat in there too.
They r 1 of e bunch of gd friends that I had made in PHPPS. Though it is a pity we cannot b colleagues again, but who koes in e future we may have e chance! Of course not saying I will go back to MOE lah. I hope I dun step into it again.
I like being with this grp of friends, n luckily we always have e chance to meet. the other grps tat I have, number of ppl abit too big, v hard to organise. But I will try to arrange 1 during e holidays. Haha. Friends r impt in our life, n most imptly is, making e right grp of frds.
Jaden's 5th birthday is coming! This Thursday will be his birthday!
There will b a mini celebration at my house this thurs evening. STEAMBOAT!
This time round, only my maiden family members n my PILs will b celebrating his bday for him. As well as 2 families having dinner together after my bro got married last wkend.
I started buying food from this morn... Thursday itself morn then I will buy e necessary meats n prawns.
Cake wise, I have yet to order. If cannot order in time then will just buy a simple small 1 will do, as Jaden doesn't eat cake at all. We can split to every1 n eat.
This little boy is getting naughtier day by day, sometimes just drive us up to e wall. He is scared of cane. Phew, but that's not e long term punishment method. Dunno wat to do with him at times.
He can b v close with Javier, but sometimes they do fight too. Push each other, didi will even scratch him. Either both fight or both cry together. V irritating. But, he will also saying didi n even hug him, though didi doesn't like it at all. Haha.
When can he b more sensible n independent? We r all waiting. But nonetheless, nothing is still more impt than his happiness, his health. We all love him as he is. N i'm sure he koes that every1 in e family loves him so much that he must learn to take care of himself when he is older. Hope this Thursday we are all going to have a great time eating n chatting. this is e day tat every1 was looking towards to... esp my parents... Today is my brother's big day!
my brother has grown up n now, he has become e husband to his wife, son-in-law to Yinghui's parents.
I was very moved on this special day.. I was equally excited!
Reached my parents' hse at 7am... everything went on smoothly n in fact during e morn session, they came back earlier than expected.
MUA tat I engaged to help us do makeup n hairdo for me, sis n mum, was good. I was satisfied with e makeup n hairdo that she did for me.
Jav was not having enuf nap time, thus fussing. Jaden on off oso fuss. It was a busy day for hubby n I as we need to take turn to handle both of them. But nonetheless, we still managed to stay til e event ended.
Jav was so tired that he actually KO-ed b4 7pm. Hope he sleep well tonight.
Wedding lunch indeed was abit rush for some of us. n bcoz it interrupted e nap time of e kids, so it's inevitable that they will fuss n make noise.
It was really a happy event that everything went on smoothly w/o much hiccups. The brother n sister gang was also helpful to handle e event, esp e brothers! kudos!
They will be spending e night at e bridal suite today. N I hope my bro n Yinghui can always b loving n caring towards each other. Marriage is for life. Nothing can make a couple split, n I hope they always bear their wedding vows in mind that they will be around for each other no matter wat happens.
Every of our family relatives were happy to attend e event. Almost all actually dressed up formally. It was such a joyous occasion for our family. After all, e last event in my family was my wedding. So, now is my bro's turn, my parents r more than happy. N Peter actually came all e way from Ireland just to attend my bro's wedding. Everything is just so happy! It's a long day for every1. I'm overjoyed. Hope I can hear bb news from them soon! Happy blissful marriage my dear brother.
我正在等待罪恶感消失的那么一天. 可能是因为靖洋到现在去学校时还是哭闹吧. 每当我把他交给老师时, 我必定带着笑容和他说再见, 但其实在内心是很挣扎的.
我知道这一切都是为他好. 我一直告诉自己, 这个决定是对的, 但就是过不了自己这一关.
毕竟, 我原本想让他3岁时才去上课. 所以, 每天让他哭着去上课, 我会带着一种罪恶感.
幸好的是, 他肯在那里睡觉, 甚至最近也开始肯吃那里提供的午餐. 下午茶点多数吃面包. 老师说他很喜欢吃面包, 可以吃上好几片. 老师也说, 课室活动他也比较愿意参与了. 这是比较安慰我的一些进展.
由于他最小, 所以也比较撒娇. 我们也比较宠着他. 我们家庭没有佣人, 大多数的事情和东西都要自己做. 我们不象别人, 什么都给佣人做. 上课差不多1个月了, 罪恶感没有消失, 我很难过. 正在等待他上课时不哭闹的一天. 我必须坚持, 毕竟迟早他都要开始这样的上课时间和生活. 我要提醒自己, 我的儿子可以的. 我要给他和自己多一点信心. 我必须一直这样告诉自己.

It's been a tiring week for me, n hubby too. Bcoz MIL was hospitalised since Wed evening.
She complained of gastric pain in e morn ard 10+.... It was during bfast time, after we sent Jav to cc.. After bfast, told her to go see doc, while I handled Jaden... She was given a jab n some med for gastric...
Letting her rest in e room, i acc Jaden. Lunch time I brought Jaden out myself to eat. After a few hrs, it did not help her get lesser pain. The pain persisted til ard 3pm when she really cannot take it, n told me she wana call e clinic to ask if dr can give her another jab to lessen e pain. I called e clinic n asked, after that drove her n Jaden to e clinic.
Doc issued a letter for MIL to go nuh a&e. I called fil, as fil was at nuh since morn for his eye checkup. He was already otw home, then I told him abt MIL going to nuh. But MIL wanted to bathe 1st.. so we went home 1st n also to wait for FIL.
When all r ready, we drove MIL to nuh. While waiting for more tests etc, suddenly e cc called me.. Teacher told me that Jav was having a fever... I quickly took Jaden along, to fetch Jav from cc. What a day.
MIL needed to be admitted as suspected that liver was inflamed. Yest, whole day did not do any test on her, saying this morn will bring her go do x ray n find out more abt her source of pain. Later might b able to find out e reason. As in when can discharge, doc didn't say anything yet. Hopefully can b asap. No 1 wants to stay in e hosp for so long, though insurance covered fully.
Later will go visit her again with Jaden. Will put Jav in cc 1st. Hopefully he can adapt better now. Though he started to eat lunch together with his peers. Hubby went to work today, n left 2 boys with me. Later I shall be a superwoman cum driver. My bugs bunny has woken up at 0815.. but my mickey mouse is still sound asleep since 10pm last night. It's going to be a tiring long week for us. Hope everything is fine.
I had a very tiring Friday today... Really. After e post, I must go n sleep le..
This morn, as usual, brought Javier for bfast b4 going for his enrichment lesson. Had 1 bread while he had 3. After his lesson, drove him to NUH to meet up with PILs n Jaden. They helped brought him for checkup.
But bcoz he has had some food earlier, so cannot do e checkup, gotta wait til 2pm.Seeing time was only slightly b4 1pm, so decided to drive MIL n Jav back 1st as no point every1 stays for e test. Drove them back then fil acc me back to nuh with Jaden.
Reached NUH at ard 1.40pm. Went to e children clinic. Waited for quite some time b4 can do e test...Ended up after all done, it was 5pm. I haven even taken my lunch at all. Only drank plain water.
I need to rush to airport today bcoz sis' bf Peter arrives today. So after dropping fil n Jaden, I had no time to go home change or wat but to head straight to airport. I am so dead beat already. Luckily otw sending fil n Jaden back, I drove to Mac drive thru to buy some food.. or else I think I will faint. Haha...
After fetching Peter, we head back to JP.. as we were meeting my mum for dinner. It's her birthday today! We went to e florist to buy her some flowers.. n went for food. Of course my mum was happy!almost whole day outside or driving. I am really so tired.
In my family has a few Oct babies. My dad, mum, sis, mil, granny!!
When we all grow up, it means our parents r getting older. But I still wish my mum a happy birthday, n always healthy loh. Hope she can have more positive energy in her, so that she will find life happier n better. Stay happy ok mummy? Happy birthday!
Finally, I really went to buy a nebulizer, for e sake of myself, Jaden n Javier.
The clinic called me yesterday noon to inform that e stock came, so in e evening I went to buy together with hubby. Also need to buy e solutions that are not cheap too.
Javier needed it yesterday night. I used it on him when he was sleeping, in order to help him in sleeping. Or else he breathes hard n cannot sleep well.
Jaden has tight airways when he has cough or bad running nose too. I just got it again last week that I oso need to be nebulized in e clinic. It's my fault for passing down this to my sons. So sad...
I hope with e machine at home, can help them abit when they have v tight airways. But indeed it can help. I used it a few times already when my asthma flared up. After nebulized, I can feel so so much better n energetic!
Tonight when he sleeps, I shall nebulize him again. Hope Javier can get well asap. Well, cc life is like that. He missed school since Wed. Shall let him go back on Monday.
I did not have asthma since young, I only contracted it when I was 19.
Whenever I have bad cough or real bad blocked nose, my asthma attack will come. So, normally when I had either these 2 'friends' visiting me, I must curb it down asap, or else when it gets worse, there goes....
My cough has been going on for a few days already. It doesn't seem to go away. Mayb bcoz of lack of rest, Jav was still adapting to cc life.. thus night time sleep was a disaster. He can ask for milk for at least 4-6 times per night.
I had a bad time breathing. Went to the doc this morn. Dr Low said my asthma flared up, luckily was a mild one as I came in early. If I drag for a few more days b4 it can get better, I think I will b in deep trouble.
I was asked to go for nebilizer. Went to e other room n sat down for 10min to breathe e solution with e mask on. After that, dr checked my breathing again, n confirmed that I can go home.
With e med n my inhaler, I must ensure I recover asap. Now on off will still abit breathless, tats v common for me. I went through e worst time of my attack. Wats worst was, Jaden had a similar illness like me. Doctors dun categorise him as asthma yet, but when his breathing became worse, he needs it just like me... Haiz...
This will be 1 of my worst illness that's in me. This is not easy illness to fight. I will try to keep it down as much as possible.
Today is Hari Raya Haji.. here's wishing all my malay frds a 'happy new year'!
Early in e morn, we set off to SEA Aquarium. Set off from home at 0930... There's drizzle, but it did not stop us from going... Haha...
Luckily we insisted e trip.. Though there's queue n crowd, but not those kind of scary lot of crowd...
It's indeed magnificent n nice to see so many sea creatures there... Though I find it really expensive. MIL got e tix from her daughter at a promo price quite some time ago.
Jaden dun really koe how to appreciate e place. He was amazed by some colourful fishes that's all. Javier on e other hand, super curious over everything, n kept wanting to look at every part of e aquarium.
We had lunch at Ding Tai Feng... b4 proceeding home.
Took quite a number of pics there... The boys enjoyed themselves, though at some time, they did fuss n made noise.
Javier got up real early b4 8am today, thus when we left Sentose for less than 10min, he dozed off in e car. Carpark fees are real exp too! it cost me $17! What a bomb.. scary... lucky I dun have e urge to keep coming to this place. Next time shall catch public transport.
It's a wonderful experience for us to visit such a place in Spore, n for the boys. I hope they enjoyed themselves today.
Yes, after delaying his intake to enter cc for 2 months, yesterday was finally Javier's 1st day of going to cc..
N of course as expected, he was screaming n shouting n crying...
All I pray was, he can adapt to school life soon, so that he can learn more things n b vocal.
In e evening, hubby n I brought him to west mall to buy him a school bag n a water bottle. We let him choose e bag. I told hubby, let him have a choice to choose, so that he can have a more acknowledgement of his belonging, n then he koes this is wat he need to go school.
Today was his 2nd day. Still, crying n shouting.. But e duration of such situation actually decreased. He remembered that e kids put their water bottles on e rack, so when I passed him his, he also went to put in e basket. He refused to drink plain water, n from straw.. But still, I bought n let him bring, bcoz see see look look, 1 day he will follow e rest n do e same.
I think e challenge will come on e 4th day, Thursday. We plan to leave him there for e whole day. Hopefully e sch dun call us. Haha...
Javier needs to learn how to follow instructions n routine. He has been a king. haha... I am reluctant to put him in cc actually.. though tot of starting him next yr instead. But my boss kept assuring me that my decision is right. I hope Javier can prove me wrong ASAP. I think I need to b more confident n kan kai...
For sure in cc they will learn both good n bad things. He has 2 classmates who r so potential naughty kids. But I think as an overall, he shld still b able to learn good things there. I hope there isn't any regrets or wat...
It's time to do e count down, my brother's wedding is approaching in a month's time! Well, it's the whole family affair that every1 in e family is looking forward to e event!
They arranged to have e food tasting session yesterday noon, as morn was their GDL. I was working in e morn, tats y didn't go
to my parents house for e GDL.
After my work, hubby came to e centre to meet me so that we can go down straight to Merchant Court. We were a little late, but just on time for the dishes to b served.
The food was nice, n I liked their abalone soup!
My brother will b married customarily in 1 month's time. They had almost everything settled. Honeymoon oso settled.
He is my parents' pride. N I felt so proud of him!
I do look forward to their wedding. As his 2nd elder sis, I bought a pair of Goldheart earrings for Yinghui, as a gift for her during e tea ceremony. For e banquet, I will give another ang bao. I have a younger sister from next mth onwards, after I drink the tea served by her! I am so happy!
Later this evening, it's time for celebration for my granny's birthday. Will b bringing e boys along later. Yeah, another round of good food. Luckily I managed to recover on time!! So happy!
What a luck to start a brand new month, October...
30th sept Monday, Jaden spent e night with my in laws, while Javier went home with us. But ard 2.30am e next morn when I was deeply in sleep, our home phone rang. MIL called to say that Jaden was vomiting non stop.
Ard 6+, e phone rung again. MIL said Jaden still vomiting. N left with nothing to vomit only the yellow gland liquid.
Ard 7-8, FIL called numerous calls to ask me bring Jaden to see e doc, said his condition wasn't good. I was already tired to e max.
8.20am, fetched Javier to go doctor clinic to get queue number 1st, then go in laws house fetch Jaden to see doc.
Jaden was down with gastric flu. When I reached in laws' house, he was still vomiting. No strength at all. He was instructed to lie down so tat Dr Chua can insert med into his butt. He actually fell asleep on e couch. Coz kept vomiting that he did not sleep. PILs oso didn't sleep much too. After seeing doc, MIL brought Jaden up so tat they can rest. N I brought Javier to eat bfast then bring him home, so tat he wont b able to disturb them.
It was til ard 4pm+ then I brought Javier over to visit Jaden. Jav was asleep when we were on e way to 817. So when we reached, I placed him to nap on e mat, n koe wat.. less than 10min, Jav suddenly vomited!
In e evening, he vomited 2 more times. N of course he was angry.. strengthless just like his korkor. We had to dilute their milk powder intake coz e moment they drink milk, after a while they will vomit.
Today, I was down with bad allergy. Thighs had v bad rashes n they itched. I went to see doc n was given oral med n cream to apply. haiz, wat a week... it's e new mth of e year n health hazards came. Wat a spoil spot. I have to stay away from seafood. Jialat. Sat n Sun have meal dates... Win liao, no need to eat good food!
Actually I had always wanted to do teaching materials for my boys, but I was just simply lazy to start until yesterday I finally made myself sit down to do.. n I was happy!
The idea came from Jaden's school. But I edit abit with using Chinese characters. the 1st project I did was on body parts.
Javier was learning body parts n was being done on flashcards of body parts in Chinese characters from my centre. Jaden could oso recognise some of the Chinese characters... So, I tot of doing e 1st file on that. It's more of learning aid for Javier n revision for Jaden... At least they have some 'work' to do n not playing games most of e time.
Write should always b e last stage of learning. 1st through stories, songs.. then flashcards... n then recognising.. after which will b e file of matching e correct answers, n lastly is write or trace which we called is handwriting time.
I dunno how effective it is but I dun mind trying it out. We cannot expect immediate effects or results. Bcoz wat I am doing is arousing interests for the subject or topic. Not academic kind of drilling like tuition.
I am going to do other topics like numbers in Chinese characters, n mayb family tree... I must plan in my head 1st b4 I start. I hope to start e numbers topic today n see if I can complete by tonight. Hope my boys can benefit from all these simple work projects that I had created. Results may not b seen now or anytime soon, but when they grow older n start real schooling, when they learn all these topics by then, they can learn faster n absorb better... Hope they like e projects lah. I have been far too lazy... I hope to be a little more hardworking...
It was a tiring n yet enriching weekend for us. I was happy that Jaden is sleeping with me at night w/o fussing anymore.
Saturday 21-09-13, we went to Serangoon for graduation photo taking with my maiden family. didn't bring e boys along coz mummy thinks that they r still young, anyway is graduation pics... Wait til my siblings have kids n then we can all take a full complete family picture!
It has been 8 years ever since I last worn my graduation gown. My sis wore her NYP graduation gown as she completed her advanced dip there... main roles is my brother, n his future wife Yinghui. Both SIM graduates. My parents r so proud of him, n so do I!
My mummy praised her son-in-law, aka my hubby, saying he looked good in suit n shld wear like that. haha!
It was a quick session n then we went for lunch at Nex.
Sunday 22-09-13, I brought Jaden out to Sheng Siong n Prime supermarket to buy food, as I am so scared of eating outside, wana cook at home. N I must pat myself at my back... I cooked sumptuous food again, though no exp ingredients like crab or lobster.
My parents, brother n future SIL came over to eat... Cannot finish e whole set of food that I had prepared of course. I am so satisfied with myself! Haha...
I will be starting on my new career soon, n I dun think I will have so much energy to cook again. But I will try if I have e chance n time.
As Jaden is approaching 5 soon in Nov, he finally is ready to be off diapers completely. We r all v happy for him.
Actually, he can b off diapers completely during daytime. He will go toilet n urine long ago, but the only thing that troubled us is the poo poo time. He refused to sit on potty or toilet bowl to do his big business. He will bring out his XXL diapers n tell u that he wana shit, so want us to help him wear diapers so tat he can poo on diapers.
Since last week, somehow abit thanks to MIL. she refused to let him wear diaper n forced him to sit on potty, he was crying as usual, didnt poo anything out. He rather not to poo n tolerated. But a few hrs later he really couldn't take it, so went to take e potty n pull down his pants, sat on it n poo-ed! Subsequently, e next day when he wana poo, he no longer took diapers n pass to us, he went to potty instead! Yeah, he was finally ready!
His next time to wear diapers was when he was asleep. Poo time n sleep time are e only times that he would wear diapers. Somewhere last week n a few more days earlier, when is time to sleep, MIL would help him wear on diapers as usual, but suddenly he just refused to wear n even run away from diapers. I told MIL mayb he is ready not to sleep with diapers on. So MIL tried to let him sleep with no diapers, but will get him up to go to toilet n urine in e mid of e night. 1st night try he did urine out, but after that pool of urine, he actually did not urine animore but to sleep til morn when he get up then go toilet. 2nd night he actually did not urine out totally on bed.
We would make fun of him these few days that we would pass him e diaper n ask if he wants to wear, but he would run away n refused. It means he is really ready.
Yesterday at our house, he actually did urinated out in e mid of e night ard 1.30am. I cannot sleep much coz i keep waking up to see if he did urine again or not. So that i can change him or wake him up to urine. End up he wanted to sleep n told me dun want. So just 1 pool of urine at 1.30am. He got up early as 7.50am this morn n go toilet urinated out a big pool of urine. His diapers can keep at home n wait til Javier reaches e size then let didi wear.
We are all happy for Jaden. Yes indeed toilet training cannot b forced. we tried in e past n i oso went to read up. Specialists said cannot b rushed. When they r ready, they r ready. So i took e belief that if 1 day my son is ready, he will eventually b ready. So finally, we waited the day to come. He is ready. Yippee... Hooray!
Tingting's 2nd child, Ayden, held his full month showers at their humble house yesterday noon. I cannot reveal his Chinese name yet as the master told Ting to start calling his Chinese name only after 4mth old. So, let's all just call him Ayden.
Bcoz of some situation cropping up, the confinement lady tat she engaged did not come, luckily i managed to get ah-yi to help. Ah-yi helped Ting with her confinement, n I felt relieved that she was happy with ah-yi's 'service' n experience as a confinement lady.
Ayden came out early as 36wk+. But v healthy. After Javier's class, I went over alone.
Happy to catch up with my ex-colleagues from PHPPS. Spent a great noon there chatting.
We will have to catch up soon again, haha! Though we had left PHPPS one by one, but our frdship is always there. Let me find 1 day to gather them all again. It's just so fun catching up to gossip anything under e sun.
Glad to koe that Ting has done her confinement well with ah-yi's help. Hope every1 is going on well with their respective careers. We shall all catch up again!
After postponing for a week, we finally went for our buffet dinner!

There were many ppl yesterday at e hotel, Melting Pot. Most of them actually bought e deal too. We had a very full dinner, real full one. Almost bloat
ed, but I think e varieties not too much. I love e soups especially! the desserts were great too, but I am just too full to go for more. I think shld b the coke's fault.
I shall look for other buffets soon. Well, I was supposed to control my diet, but.... glutton me lah. Haha....
Although it's just a short dinner date btwn e both of us, but I am equally contented. Yes, I agreed we must have couple time at least once a week, just the 2 of us.
I'll b starting work real soon officially, n hope we will have time to eat together as 2 again.
The birthday that we were looking forward to has finally ended yesterday around 9.15pm! It was Javier's 2nd birthday yesterday!
Had invited e usual gang of friends... TABLE.. Tays, Aws, Bongs (us with wenxian n xiaolin), Lees... Together with both side of e parents, my 4eva loving siblings, my future SIL... Gugu, this year added 2 more ppl... hubby's cousin n hubby...
The dinner started at ard 6.30pm. We ordered mini buffet from xinyipin.. hubby went to buy xtra fried rice, bcoz e main dish we ordered was bee hoon... lucky he bought rice, some of them preferred to have rice yesterday evening.
Javier, e main role of the evening, did not have enuf nap, thus fussing n crying! It was a crying birthday for him. Haha. But it did not stop us from continuing to eat n chat n had our own fun time.
I ordered desserts specially for the guests, though there were eclairs. Luckily e reviews of the desserts were ok. It was cheesecake in a jar, with diff flavours... Phew.. Glad to see them like it.
Cake, we ordered from bengawan solo. Javier's mood became better during cake cutting session. Haha. Jaden was then fussing already n making a scene.
The whole event ended ard 9.15pm, n Javier slept at 11pm. But he got up at 7.30am today.. so early.. yawn... Haha..
Thanks every1 for turning up yesterday to share e joy n celebrate the crybaby's birthday. It was great catching up n shall meet up again soon! Happy birthday Javier. We all hope you can always be healthy n smart always!

Hubby actually sms-ed me in e morn to wish me happy anniversary 1st. I must have been too tired that I replied later. No matter wat, we went through some hiccups, but I sincerely hope he has a love me heart, that will keep us going n going.
